Here is the specific Terps TV info

You know the numbers: Maryland has been on ESPN360.com seven times this season.

But the Terps game against Florida State on Saturday will be on television locally. Specifically, it's on WJZ-TV (CBS 13) in Baltimore and on WTTG-TV (Fox 5) in Washington. Kickoff is at noon.

It's the fourth TV game for Maryland football this season. The others were California on ESPN2, and Virginia and Clemson (both ESPNU).

Jeff,

What is the deal with most of theTerps football games not being televised locally?

If you're the premier college in the state for college football, why can't fans see all of the games?

Thanks

James

ABC, ESPN and Raycom are picking the top ACC games each week. Maryland just needs to win more often to get selected.

I miss the days of the old Jefferson-Pilot network. When they showed the Terps win or lose.

Eastside Jim is right. The Terps need to be on local TV more often. Another reason to get rid of Debbie Yow. A good AD would find some way to get a local channel to televise the Terps. How can we recruit local studs to play if they know they won't be on TV on a regular basis?
