« Wake is beating the blitzes | Main | A horrific defensive half for the Terps »

October 10, 2009

Three Wake drives, three TDs

QB Riley Skinner, Wake Forest's fifth-year senior, has led touchdown drives on his first three possessions.

The drives went 67, 80 and 66 yards and Wake Forest leads 21-7 early in the second.

How badly does Maryland a stop?

The 21 points were Wake's highest in the first quarter this season.

Total offense? Wake had 213 at the end of the period and Maryland had 22.

Sometimes - this team doesn't look like a D-1 team. Just wonder what they are doing in practice, when they look so lost on the usual plays WF runs. Saw Mid Tenn St get shut down by Troy couple of weeks ago - and just can't understand - why this team is so lost, especially when they are playing spread-type offenses.

Ouch!, i just logged in and saw 21-7, now it's 28-7 in a blink of the eye..... not looking good at all.....

the Fridge and Billick are eerily similar.

Both had early success at head coaching, then both suffered badly at selecting and developing QB's and finding consistency.

Both tried to be head coach AND offensive coordinator at the same time.

Ralph is overmatched and due to his own pride is blind.

You better save your fingers and breath,Jeff.Md secondary is looking pathetic and Skinner is playing pitch and catch with everybody in a black uniform. No comeback tonight and I can't watch anymore of the Terps being skinned alive.

This is stunning. I guess it's time for Terps fans to watch a movie or something. Maybe curl up with a good book..

When I turned on the game, I didn't need to wait to hear the score. I could tell by the depressed tone in Johnny Holliday's voice. I know he's the voice of the Terps, but he's just a homer. Pathetic!

I gave up my season tickets this year and it appears I made the right decision. I'm beyond tired of Friedgen's excuses, inability to recruit, inability to motivate, and inability to utilize personnel. I can't watch this team this year.
