Terps hanging in -- by a yard

The Terps are hanging in by about a yard.

Leading 17-13, Duke drove to the Maryland 2, where quarterback Thaddeus Lewis fumbled and the ball was recovered by defensive tackle Travis Ivey. That kept the Terps in the game.

The Terps had made it 17-13 when Davin Meggett took a screen pass, made a cut and outran the defense for a 67-yard touchdown – Maryland’s longest play from scrimmage this season.

The Terps have turned the ball over zero times. That's right.

By the way, safety Antwine Perez is not seriously hurt but did not return to the game.

Duke 17, Maryland 13, zero Terps turnovers. Fourth quarter.

So with 4:22 left to play and MD is +3 in turnovers they are losing to Duke. What a disaster and embarrassment.

Get used to Duke being real good. And they aren't there yet, but easily good enough to beat the Twerps. When I played at Duke, Md. didn't come close to beating us. David Cutcliffe is the real deal. Sorry.

It just shows you how Turner is just plain terrible.
You NEED A PLAYMAKER AT QB IN COLLEGE RALPH YOU TUB!!

Well, looks like any bowl chances for the Twerps has gone into the crapper! LOL

Hey jeff when are you and the rest of the ralph fridge apolgists going to start asking for him to be fired. This is a absolute joke.

I can hear Ralph now. "I love how the boys did not quit. I love this team. They never gave up" This is a game against Duke football, not Duke basketball. Ralph's time has come to retire. Four of the last six years we have been under .500.

This season has turned into a disaster. Yes, this is a young team but the lack of improvement is a function of the lack of proper coaching. It is time to turn the page and let the young quarterbacks play. Chris Turner is not a playmaker this year and is an average Division 1 QB at best. I have been a season ticket holder for over 15 years and I have never seen a more totally disfunctional Maryland team

What's! there to say. No Quarterback, no receivers, no coach and no football athletic department.

I say lets clean the house now,

My big question is why are the young quarterbacks sitting on the bench? Norman

Although I am a Turner supporter, I wouldn't be surprised to see Robinson start at QB coming out of the bye week. It is time to see what he can do.

terps are an average division II team at best. bye bye fridge. remember to take your diet books with you.

The anouncer said Duke was younger than MD, mmm what's our excuse now?

"The anouncer said Duke was younger than MD, mmm what's our excuse now?"

That's wrong. Maryland returned the fewest starters of any Division I FBS school aside from the service academies. Maryland returned nine starters, and Duke returned 11.
