I was reading about how Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip attended a Terps football game in 1957.
I want to know:
*Did she rent a chair back?
*Did she pet Testudo?
*Was she grumpy about the $15 cash parking?
*Did she sing Rock and Roll, Pt. II?

Wasn't this her first stateside visit to a (american) football game. I remember reading about this in the history of Maryland football book that came out ages ago.
Wasn't the game agaisnt the former coach Jim Tatum (who was coaching UNC) who would later die from an infected tick bite?

I attended the Queen's game. The Terps lost to North Carolina. The Queen smuggled her booze into the game in her purse. Afterwards, she went to the 'Vous.
