Williams named to preseason All-ACC team

Maryland center Edwin Williams has been named to the 2008 Preseason All-ACC team, the league announced today.

Williams, a fifth-year senior from Washington D.C., also earned preseason all-conference honors from Athlon, Blue Ribbon Yearbook, Lindy’s and The Sporting News.

The 6-foot-3, 315-pounder has made 26 consecutive starts for the Terps at center. Williams, who was named to the Rimington Trophy watch list for best center in the country, is one of four returning starters on the UM offensive line.

I think Heyward-Bey will be on this list when the season os over. I am excited to see him play. If only he had a consistent QB throwing him the ball.

Heyward-Bey on this list invalidates the whole thing completely?
