All-ACC football teams announced

The Associated Press named its 2007 All-ACC football team today.

Maryland defensive tackle Dre Moore and linebacker Erin Henderson were first-team selections. Offensive lineman Andrew Crummey made the second team.

Running back Keon Lattimore was an honorable mention.

I've pasted the complete list of selections below, as voted on by 73 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. A first-team vote was worth two points and second team vote one. Do you agree with the selections? Are there any Terps that deserved recognition that didn't make the list?

Once again it appears the NC-controlled ACC media have snubbed the Terps.

I have one comment for this latest travesty.

Disgraceful.

Dave Philistin deserved to be at least a 2nd teamer. Heyward-Bey not even honorable mention? What a joke!

Kevin Barnes also deserved to be at least on the honorable mention list.

The fact that Dave Philistin didn't even make honorable mention is a crock,he only had double digit tackles in the last 6 games and averaged almost 10 a game.I feel sorry for a guy who with Henderson played his heart out and can't even get a honorable mention.

I'm just impressed that Crummey made the list at all considering that he missed half the season. I mean, I don't care and I'm glad, but it's funny.

How are Lance Ball and Latimore both not 1st team or 2nd team all ACC? I hate the ACC writers....

Heyward Bey shoulda recieved a mention. I woulda loved to have seen Lattimore and Ball be the featured back for a team all year. They're 2 of the best in the league but not able to get the stats sharing the load. Oh well.

Agreed on what others said of Philistine. He played hard. Hayward-Bey doesn't deserve it and it's not his fault. More consistant play from the QB and he's a shoe-in. I'm also surprised Lattimore got recognized over Ball

What a crock: UNC had 6 players mentioned on a team that went 4-8 (3-5 ACC). UVa went 9-3 (6-2) and only had 5 players mentioned. The Heels had 3 of the front 7 All-ACC 2nd team defense, yet gave up more than 30 points 4 times; on the season, they yielded 142.5 ypg on the ground. I don't know what UNC's front 7 was doing this year (since the team is too lousy to be on TV), but it sure wasn't stopping the run!
