FYI
I've got a 9 a.m. flight to North Carolina this morning (Sunday) for ACC hoops media day in Greensboro. (You wanna be a sports reporter? Set your alarm).
I just posted a late-night blog to hold you over, but will be traveling and listening to league coaches and players for much of the day. (Where do you think the media will pick the Terps to finish this year? Remember, I don't vote ...). I'll try to publish your comments as often as I can log on.
I'll blog from Greensboro eventually, and will have some tid-bits from the weekly Sunday conversation with Ralph, so check back in the afternoon. Gary Williams and James Gist will be in attendance.

Comments
Since neither the Sun's nor the Post's writers vote and a large chunk of the voters are NC media, the vote is usually skewed towards the Tobbaco Road schools, no matter how good the Terps turn out to be. I predict 7th or 8th.

Kyle Boller my not be the quaterback that Billick [ the genious ] thought but he is probably the fastest speed talker in pro sports.

I hope the Terps are picked 7th or 8th. Gary's teams seem to play better when they have a chip on their shoulder.

Hope you had a safe trip. Sewell did OK . Long was great. We miss our cheater QB. I think he would have really helped. Sad. The Fridge will think of some way to make this season positive. Go Terps. Hope your boy Gary is nice to you this season. Remember he's on the wagon. That's got to be tough.

Man, it must be soooooo though having to travel and cover sports. I mean geez, that has to be horrific. Must be waaaaay worst than us regular stiffs with real jobs who go to boring meetings.
Quit your complaining, you cover sports, no one cares that you have to make a 9am flight. Boo hoo.

Here is all you need to know about the football team's woes:
They have been outscored 36-0 in the 4th quarter during their 3 ACC games.
52-17 if you look at the whole second half of those games.
