Baltimore Social Media Club breakfast tomorrow

:: Become a friend of BaltTech on Facebook::

baltosocialmediaclub.jpgTickets still remain for tomorrow morning's Baltimore Social Media Club breakfast at Morton's Steakhouse in downtown Baltimore.

Guest speakers, including the Baltimore Sun's social media and mobile guru Pete Sweigard, will be there talking about the mobile social web.

I'll be there, too. And, as my guest, I'll be with Ruth Eaddy of Waldorf, who won a ticket in a raffle last week that I held for new fans of the BaltTech Facebook page. (Ahem, are you following BaltTech on Facebook yet?)

Other speakers at tomorrow's event include Vince Buscemi of MindGrub, a Baltimore Internet firm that specializes in mobile websites, and Eric Madison, head of FraternalSoft, which makes mobile and social networking websites for fraternal and other social and civic organizations.

The Baltimore Social Media Club just started up this year. Here's their Facebook Page.

About Gus G. Sentementes
Gus G. Sentementes (@gussent on Twitter) has been writing for The Baltimore Sun since 2000. He's covered real estate, business, prisons, and suburban and Baltimore City crime and cops. He was one of the first reporters at The Sun to use multimedia tools and Web applications -- a video camera, an iPhone -- to cover breaking news. He hopes to cover Maryland geeks and the gadgets and Web sites they build, and learn -- and share -- something new every day.

Gus has a wife, a young daughter and two feuding cats. They live in Northeast Baltimore.
