Here are a few Washington events of note for Monday, May 5.
President Bush is hosting a Rose Garden dinner in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
More than 1,200 high school students from all 50 states and the Northern Mariana Islands are testing their knowledge of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights during the 21st annual "We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution" national finals. Meanwhile, the Energy Department-sponsored National Science Bowl finals competition for high school students is being held as well.
The American Psychaitric Association is holding its annual convention.
