INDIANAPOLIS--The Indianapolis Star, Indiana's largest newspaper, today endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination in Tuesday's primary, citing her experience over rival Sen. Barack Obama's ability to inspire voters.
"Obama offers an attractive vision for the way things could be. He speaks eloquently of hope and change. He connects with voters, many who formerly felt disenfranchised, on a level few political leaders have attained," the newspaper's editorial board wrote.
"Clinton offers a clear-eyed view of the way things are. She offers nuanced positions on how to address the war in Iraq, trade with China and economic expansion. Her depth of knowledge is remarkable," the paper said.
Still, the newspaper contended that since Obama is a first-term senator from Illinois, "his inexperience in high office is a liability" while Clinton is "well prepared for the rigors of the White House."
The newspaper acknowledged that Clinton had "pandered" more to Indiana voters than Obama, citing her support of a suspension of federal gas taxes. But it said she was more prepared to handle the complex issues facing the presidency.
"On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton is the better choice, based on her experience and grasp of major issues, to confront those challenges," the newspaper said.

In other words, Bill Clinton should be returned to the White House. End of story. Change is change, is change. The Star admits that a liar is what this country needs at this time in history. America does not need a level headed thinker. It needs a panderer, a liar, a war monger (she wants to obliterate Iran.) Even her home town newspaper, the NYT, believes this woman is toxic.

What experience does Clinton have? She lied about sniper fire not misspoke and this is character! I listen to these reports of the middle class blue collar worker and the needs. Well we all have similar needs. Yet these blue collar workers are depicted as white people. Well guess what they're not all white people. American voters don't have a great track record selecting presidents lately. And I see why. You listen to all of the junk and don't see the games that are being played. None of these candidate have executive experience so why are people believing Hillary is so the right person to lead this country. It doesn't make any sense. Enough is enough people, wake up before it really to late. And why do so called blue collar workers think the republicans will look after their interests. People wake the hell up.

So happy to see Hillary moving UP in the polls and endorsed by the Indianapolis Star. I voted for her in my state primary and contributed to her campaign.
Hillary is the most qualified and electable candidate for President and I will support her all the way to the White House (baggage and all).
I hope the remaining superdelegates endorse her and a solution to Florida and Michigan is reached, so she can focus on the general election.
BTW: Obama will make a great Vice-President and can run again in 2016, when he has more experience.
HILLARY, OUR NEXT PRESIDENT !!!

I am saddened by this endorsement. Hillary Clinton has no real experience and has gotten where she has gotten on the coat tails of her husband, who has behaved terribly in this campaign. She herself has lied shamelessly and has proved to be divisive, promising more of the same. It is telling that she should be praised for her "testicular fortitude." I think that we need a little less of that, and she should be disqualified for her irresponsible statements about nuking Iran and millions of innocent civilians, which has outraged the world. Talk about pandering. I am a 52 year old white female, and I am dismayed that so many women would support Hillary Clinton, who does not represent anyone's interests, except her own.

I hope The Star doesn't take as long as the NYTimes took to criticize Senator Clinton, for her taking the " Low Road ", in her campaign tactics!! The NY Times endorsed her, too, but then found itself criticizing her and a call came for a retraction of the endorsement from its readership!! That is her home state's paper, don't forget!!
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME, ALIVE. NOW.
