CHARLESTON, W. Va--Brian's a waiter at the Chili's restaurant in downtown Charleston.
'Hillary Clinton's going to win, big," he says. "But it's probably not going to help her much."
He says he's a big Clinton supporter. Why? "Because when her husband was president, I could afford to live," he says. "I could afford to put gas in my car."
As for Obama? "I don't know him," he says. "He came on the scene, what, four years ago?" And, he says, he hardly came to campaign in the state.
By the way, do you know that employees at Chili's are called Chiliheads? As in doing things "The Chilihead Way."
One of the commandments of The Chilihead Way is to "play well together." This would seem to disqualify Clinton and Obama from joining the ranks of the Chiliheads.
It is possible your correspondent has been sitting at Chili's for too long.

POOR DUMB FELLA
all presidents take way too much credit for whatever goes right economically during their tenure - thus the death of critical thinking seen in the TV era - this young guy does not know that correlation does not imply cause and effect and if hillary has her way she'll keep everyone in the dark on purpose - after all the superior intellectuals with their millions of dollars and powerful connections are the only ones who are supposed to have critical thinking skills - right ??
one of the main causes of increase in gas prices is the devaluated dollar which has it's roots in the chinese trade deals authored by ... Bill Clinton
and the war hillary voted for isn't helping the price of gas either
NO more short term solutions
16 years of myopic policies and deceiving the public is enough
