The Swamp

by Mark Silva

Stephen Colbert, he of the Colbert Report, reports that the Democratic candidates for president finally have found something that they can agree on: Appearing on his show.

But Comedy Central's Colbert claims that Hillary Clinton, who appeared at the start of a show last week, now accuses Obama of "copy-catting'' her for appearing by surprise at the end. (That debate last week should have been moderated by "Tucker Carlson and his amazing cats,'' Colbert said of the unseated MSNBC talk show host, showing clips of Carlson with cats. "He will be missed.'')

With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Colbert reported last night that Clinton has accused Obama of being "a copy-cat... Unfortunately, Obama already declared that he was rubber and she was glue.''

But Clinton may be on to something, Colbert said, revealing a deeper pattern of behavior. "First Hillary was born in Illinois, then Obama moved to Illinois. Hillary became a senator, and suddenly Obama decides he wants to become a senator, too... Then Hillary became the Democratic front-runner, until Obama said, 'That sounds like fun, let me give it a try.'''

Can they reasonably call Obama a copy cat? "Yes we can, yes we can,'' Obama intones at a campaign rally.

And will Clinton continue to make those accusations? "Yes we will,'' she tells a campaign crowd. "Yes we will.''

Clinton says Obama copies her ideas, but if you look through Obama's Book you will see Clinton is actually coping Obama's ideas... go figure

Seriously?

Stephen Colbert is a frikin' genius. Somewhere on the astral plane, Del Close is proud and ordering more drinks from his flight attendants!

Former First Lady, Senator Clinton, has deminished her chances for ever becoming president of our Greatgrand Nation. He appears claims inheritance to White House as Jews, Christians, and Muslims claim inheritance to Jerusalum.

In the process Iranians get nuked.

Colbert punk'd Clinton really good last week, he had Clinton come on and fix the big screen....for Obama.

That was HILLARIOUS!!!

YEAH, THAT MAY HAVE BEEN HILLARIOUS, BUT HILLARY DID GET THE "COLBERT BUMP" FOR PENNSYLVANIA!! THANKS STEPHEN!!

Colbert and Stewart are both hero's. If it weren't for them and they're constant criticism of BOTH parties, no one would look at this whole ridiculous process objectively. God knows we don't get that from the 24hr news channels and they're ridiculous over analysis of everything. Flag Pins anyone????

She really needs to step down, she has no chance of winning... if anything she just looks like a sore loser now.

Hmm, maybe next Obama will become a lying, two-faced, egomaniacal backstabber too.

(Either one is still better than than the ignorant, senile curmudgeon running on the other side.)
