Good morning.

Here are a few Washington events of note for Wednesday, March 26.

The Commerce Department is releasing the February report on new home sales, the latest indicator on where the sluggish housing market is headed.

The Consumer Federation of America is releasing a study analyzing factors that are likely to lead to an increase in consumer gasoline prices.

President Bush is participating in Defense Department briefings.

The National Archives and Footnote.com are announcing creation of “The Wall,” an interactive online Vietnam War Memorial that makes war records more widely available.
