it's obvous most of you have not listened to Mr. Limbaugh enough to form an intelligent opinion on his commentary. We 'dittoheads' are not robots, nor are we dim; we think for ourselves and appreciate Rush because he agrees with us. What is special about this primary election of 2008, is that Rush Limbaugh's opinions are commentary of little importance - and are of the past. The commentary that is most significant is that from the grassroots movements in this country. That photo of Obama was taken in Somalia, not Kenya. FYI there are probably thousands of photos of world leaders wearing the garb of other cultures during official state visits. Do a Google search for this and you'll be tickled by some of the images.

I was raised as an athiest, but now I am a believer in a higher power as an adult. I was raised as a Republican as a youth, but as an adult I am a Democrat. I hate Hillary, what she stands for what she hides and who benefit from, and what she had manipulated. Your cynicism quite noted.

Here's the difference between conservatives and liberals. Liberals arrive indepently at their own conclusions and seek out others of like mind. Conservatives look for someonne who will tell them what they are supposed to think. Anyone ever hear a Democrat saying "like Speaker Pelosi says", or something similar? No, because we tend to express our own thoughts. Contrast this with conservatives, who quote the likes of Limbaugh, Coulter and O'Reilly ad nauseum.

Now of course Rush Windbag wants the Democratic fight to continue. This would keep the eyes of the nation focused away from the shortcomings of the last eight years. Coupled with the fact that if McCain is so great, then why was he not the nominee in 2000? Surely, he has to be smarter than Bush! Why does the Tribune have a column that is basically parroting Rush Limbaugh's drivel? 90% of what he says here is blatantly wrong (as is often the case with Limbaugh), and it's basically just printed here verbatim without challenge. That's not journalism.

The earliest use of Obama's middle name that I could find was by Republican strategist Ed Rogers in December, 2006 on MSNBC's Hardball, well before Obama formally announced his candidacy.

In the last three elections, and I include this one, the republicans have fielded a candidate who is eminently beatable. The democrats have responded by nominating the ONE person whom the republicans can beat. It comes down to a "hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils" scenario.

Obama may not have experience but he has hope, conviction and a way about him that can bring people together. The experience needed will come from his advisors just like any other President. The fact that he is not in the pocket of major corporations will help him make educated and unclouded decisions from there.

I hope Obama can win, that way we can celebrate Black history all year long, while our tax increases at the Federal level can match Cook County where the highest and smartest people in the county work at.
