Gordon Fischer, former chairman of the Iowa Democratic Party and a co-chair of Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign in Iowa, already has apologized today for a “tasteless’’ blue-dress blog comment about Bill Clinton. Yet camp Clinton is complaining of a pointed attack strategy by camp Obama.
Bill Clinton, the former president, had said last week that this election season offers a promise of two candidates who truly love their country, his wife and Republican Sen. John McCain – leading some to read a slam at Obama’s patriotism into that remark. And retired Gen. Merrill "Tony" McPeak, a supporter of Obama, complained that Clinton was resorting to tactics reminiscent of the late Sen. Joe McCarthy.
Fischer, a Des Moines attorney pictured at right in his "Iowa True Blue" blog, had initially written today: "B. Clinton questions Obama's patriotism. In response, an Obama aide compared B. Clinton to Joe McCarthy.
“This is patently unfair. To McCarthy.
“"When Joe McCarthy questioned others' patriotism, McCarthy (1) actually believed, at least apparently, the questions were genuine, and (2) he did so in order to build up, not tear down, his own party, the GOP. Bill Clinton cannot possibly seriously believe Obama is not a patriot, and cannot possibly be said to be helping -- instead he is hurting -- his own party,'' the Iowan wrote. "B. Clinton should never be forgiven. Period.
“This is a stain on his legacy,’’ Fischer wrote, “much worse, much deeper, than the one on Monica's blue dress."
Fischer has since revised his blog with "a sincere and contrite apology''' to say this: “I sincerely apologize for a tasteless and gratituous comment I made here about President Clinton. It was unnecessary and wrong.’’
But this hasn’t stopped the Clinton campaign from complaining that camp Obama, which promised a new kind of politics of hope, is resorting to old-school tactics.
Both McPeak’s comments linking Clinton to McCarthy and Fischer’s initial remarks today “make very and Gordon Fischer’s comments “make very clear that the Obama campaign’s decision to attack Sen. Clinton is one they intend to keep,’’ Howard Wolfson, communications director for the Clinton campaign, said in a noontime conference call with reporters today. “What we’ve seen in the last few days is really the manifestation of that.’’
First came McPeak, he said, then “the disgusting comments made by Gordon Fischer on his blog… It is a negative message…. It is a message designed not to build him up, but to tear Sen. Clinton down.’’
“That’s not the kind of politics we were promsed by Sen. Obama,’’ Wolfson said.
“The Obama camapign has gone off the high road and firmly owns the low road,’’ said Phil Singer, deputy communications director for the campaign.
But what about Clinton supporterr James Carville likening New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson to Judas Iscariot in his Good Friday endorsement of Obama.
“It was not something that I agreed with,’’ Wolfson said, spending time on several media fronts today distancing the campaign from Carville’s comments. “I think that Bill Richardson has very ably served this country and our party…. I’m sorry that he did not go the way that New Mexico went in choosing Sen. Clinton. Again it is sort of proof positive that superdelegates have the obligation and opportunity to exercise their own judgment… He certainly should be free to do it without any personal recrimination.’’
And in fairness to Fischer, a rather mild-mannered attorney in Des Moines, who runs a blog about Iowa politics, the former state party chairman was quick to apologize for his blue dress comment today.
“I sincerely apologize for a tasteless and gratituous comment I made here about President Clinton,’’ Fischer wrote on his blog, pulling down the earlier commentary.
“I have since deleted the comment, and again apologize for making it. It will not happen again,’’ Fischer writes. “I hope my readers will accept my apology and we can move on to the very important issues facing our state and country. Thank you.’’
Apologies are already appreciated, camp Clinton replied, yet the Obama attack line goes on. "I don't know why he'd really apologize,'' Wolfson said.
This is going to be one long month until the April 22 Pennsylvania primary election.

haha -- it's the newest phase of the "kitchen sink" strategy. there's nothing "accidental" or "unintentional" in these remarks. the fact that the whole "unamerican" and "unpatriotic" line of attack happened to coincide with the rev. wright debacle -- although not citing it directly -- proves just how much winning the nomination is to sen. clinton (which is not a bad thing). however, the truth is getting obfuscated among all this. even if you prefer sen. clinton, you have a right to know: obama can't be blamed for the michigan delegate loss and non-revote. to say he's "disenfranchising" voters is wrong and misleading -- he had no control over anything and the only thing he did was follow the dnc rules. he's stated publicly and on-air that he'll abide by whatever the dnc decides. secondly, if you're determined to assign to him what someone else who supports him said -- regardless how accurate or logical that is -- you deserve to know that the rev. wright actually was QUOTING what a white, republican man who served under ronald reagan had said. somehow the mainstream media failed to get this out as much as they pushed the superficial aspect of this story. the famous youtube cut of reverend speaking suspiciously begins AFTER he said "what i'm about to tell you was said by a white man who..." you're not going to see that -- but unfortunately it's going to stain the public's perception because the media need a sexy story, and the candidates need something to "stick" to obama. although i'm actually rooting for mccain, fair is fair -- and nothing about what clinton and co. are doing is fair.

Why is it Obamas fault? Bill stained the dress.

I love it when the Clinton's play the "poor me" act.
I wonder if Hillary is going to fake cry again before PA?
WHAT A JOKE!
Coming soon to a superdelegate near you:
"Hillary in Tuzla".
It's an unbelievable tale of heroism, written and directed by Mark J. Penn.
The Baltimore Sun calls it a "whopper."
"Four Pinocchios!" says the Washington Post.
"Requires enormous suspension of disbelief" raves the Huffington Post.

Why apologize for the truth?
Posted by: Gander | March 24, 2008 1:26 PM
seriously... Since when did we all become so sensitive? If she cries again, she should automatically be disqualified. Talk about dirty tactics. The underhanded insults aren't dirty? This isn't the first time Bill has pulled this, and the difference is... in 92 and 96, he had a lot more support behind him. This time around, it's not about him, it's about her and it's not looking good for either of them to be using the same tactics on a follow democrat, who happens to be leading in delegates and popular vote. He's polarizing his own party.

Which is more tasteless -- doing it, or commenting that it was done?

Let's not forget that Newt Gingrich was dallying with his mistress at the same time he was spearheading the Lewinsky assault on Clinton. These are adults and their sex life should stay private if a crime is not involved. And asking someone about their sex life while under oath when no crime was committed is a crock. By the way, Mr. Fischer can't write something and then take it back and say he was sorry. That's also a crock.

I just LOVE watching the Democratic party implode!
The Clintons will do whatever is necessary to win this election and get back in the White House. If it comes down to hiring a hit man to get Obama out of their way, they will do that.
That is the fact that is the Clintons.

"Why apologize for the truth?"
Gander
Agreed, all who seem to hold that sentiment. So the next time someone brings up Obama's past drug use or his un-American minister or his middle name or his muslim father or stepfather, and you're tempted to howl in protest, repeat that question to yourselves.
The press screamed bloody murder for weeks just because a Clinton surrogate suggested Republicans might bring up Obama's past drug use, and the guy wound up resigning. The blue dress comment was no less repugnant, and this guy should resign as well.

Comment to oops! Hillary will be laughing after the PA primary. Here we go again, Texas Primary, Ohio Primary and Rhode Island. All the really big states are for Hillary, and that is what is needed to win the presidency. Not the little measly states. Oh, ya I forgot IL, but then we all know about the "FIXED" elections in IL.
Posted by: RFB-IL | March 24, 2008 2:49 PM
As for Richardson, he couldn't even carry his own state. That should be a really big help to Obama. And as for his loyalty remaining with the Clintons, with friends like him who needs enemys. The man is as much a joke as obama.
Posted by: RFB-IL | March 24, 2008 2:51 PM
The Obama and his campaign seem to be the ones who have a sense of entitlement. Disenfranchising Michigan and Florida are bad enough, but trying to shame a former president and put his comments out of context is shameful. After 6 months of the press giving Obama a free pass it is about time someone tells it like it is. If Obama is the Democratic candidate for pres, look for the press, and the Republicans to rip him to shreds.
Posted by: Jim | March 24, 2008 2:57 PM
Why do people apolagize to the Clintons? They are never cool about it, nothing is ever "sufficent" and they just cry foul, over and over, using that high-toned snear. Stop staying sorry to people who act that way. Just stop.
Posted by: CC | March 24, 2008 2:59 PM
These negative comments about the former president are reprehensible. Keep in mind that Bill Clinton is the first and only Democrat to win two terms since FDR. I won't even ask which of you have been morally perfect in your own lives.
It is the constant negative attacks from the Obama camp that have convinced me to vote Republican this fall, should Obama win the nomination. And that would be the first time I have not voted for the Democratic nominee in over 40 years. And, no, I am not a racist, nor stupid, nor any of the other little phrases you Obama supporters like to call people who do not agree with you. You are not destroying the Democratic party; you have destroyed it.

Governor Bill Richardson came out to finally endorse Barrack Obama. Richardson said that Obama’s' speech on race was his deciding factor. The speech showed the leadership qualities Richardson was looking for. I have to agree with Richardson, as he said that, it's time for Clinton to step down, and the Democrats to come together.
Clinton cannot beat Obama’s numbers no matter HOW they parse it. That is an undeniable fact. Clinton’s campaign knows this very well. As Nancy Pelosi (speaker of the house) said, "This is a delegate race, period. If the super delegates turn over the will of the people, it won't be good for the Democratic Party" When Clinton thought she would have it in the bag, after California. Florida and Michigan did not matter to her then. Just like Clinton dismissed the 11 state streak Obama had, because “NONE OF THOSE SATES COUNT ANYWAY”. How “disenfranchised” do those sates feel, by Clinton? What an atrocious thing to say. Clinton goes on to attack Obama this way:
He has not crossed the "Commander in Chief threshold" like John McCain has.
He cannot be trusted to answer the phone at 3am.
His only experience is a speech from 2002.
That he is disenfranchising voters in Michigan and Florida (even though she agreed to the same rules he did when those states stepped out of line in the primary process).
And, as Bill Clinton intimated , he doesn't love our country, like Hillary and McCain do.
Those are some serious blows against someone in your own party and might seriously hurt his chances of winning the general election. In fact, every day that Senator Clinton stays in the race is another day she spends money damaging Senator Obama. And every dollar she spends is a dollar in John McCain's pocket.
It almost makes you ask - does she want him to lose?
If Obama wins, then Senator Clinton couldn't run again until at least 2016 (unless something goes terribly wrong). At which point, she would be almost as old as John McCain is now. If she's ever going to become president, she has this narrow window.
On the other hand, if Senator Obama sustains serious political wounds going into the general election and winds up losing, then Hillary Clinton is sitting pretty in 2012.
That's how much Clinton cares about the Democratic Party!!
Obama has two former presidential candidates backing him now. They know who has the best chance with the Republicans in Nov.
Just because Obama did not bring up the past with Clinton, do not think the republicans won't.
When the Clintons tax records, Bills' Foundation, and Library funding sources are revealed, it could destroy the party for decades. There is 1/2 BILLION dollars in funding alone to explain! If it were all kosher, it would have been known long ago. There is an ongoing fraud lawsuit in California, which the media has not been reporting as well.
Here is the link to the YouTube video explaining this upcoming fraud trial in California. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_SNCz8YNrE I believe it is April 24th, 2008.
Hillary Clinton cannot be elected under these circumstances.
There will be another time for a woman to run the Whitehouse. It's not this woman, not this time.

Tp my recollection the dress was stained. So where should one apologize, if anyone should apologize it would be Hillary, for letting her husband do the things that he did. No one can convince me that they didn't have an "OPEN" arrangement anyway.....if not he would have been kicked to the curb. Aah but then Hillary wouldn't be so powerful would she. Apologize, yes the Clinton's are the one's that need to apologize.

Obama lives in a glass house with mud-stained windows. He and his cronies are not above muckraking, as we all have witnessed, so stop justifying his doing it. I would rather see a real tear of Hillary's, than a stick- up-his-butt Obama preaching from his pulpit of fake unity.
I personally would like the press to ask questions of, and report on the answers the candidates have on policies, and not act like they are reporting on the likes of Spears, Hilton, and Lohan. These are important times, and we deserve more than this.
Condolences to the voters who voted in Florida, and Michigan. You got a raw deal.

Fronm Talking Points Memo:
"The system is based on pledged delegates and super-delegates. Period. There's a set of rules everyone agreed on. The wisdom of those rules is irrelevant at this point. The Clinton campaign is entitled to do whatever it wants to get superdelegates to come over to her side to even out the pledged delegate deficit. My take is that whatever the arguments, the superdelegates aren't going to go against a clear pledged delegate leader. And I think they'd be extremely ill-advised to do so. But the superdelegates do have this power under the rules. But these constant efforts to say the rules aren't fair are just silly, and truth be told I think they're more undermining of the Clinton campaign than they realize".
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/185225.php
The Clinton campaign has realized that the rules don't work in their favor, that if we follow the rules as agreed upon before the first caucus vote was cast in Iowa, that they have no chance of winning but that never mattered to the Clinton camp at the time. It only mattered after she lost the election based on the rules. The media narrative is finally starting to reflect this reality.
Again, the only way Clinton can win this race is with a coup by superdelegate, which would necessarily create civil war in the party.
And of course, Hillary Clinton doesn't care.
That's the bottom line. All the other noise in this contest are just ex post facto justifications for that coup attempt.

Search on Yahoo, (Public Debt to the Penny)
On the left hand side of the page it says,(Historical Debt Outstanding) ...Click on it.
It has the debt of the United States on this Treasury website in 50 year increments. The last time the debt was paid down was 1957. Bill Clinton never paid down the debt, or had a surplus. George Bush gave us a tax cut on Bill Clinton's lie. 4 Trillion dollars of debt because little Billy, had to prop up his legacy with a lie.
Now his wife is running on his lame record. God help us.

Bill Clinton can not open his mouth these days. He said, he only campaigns for Hillary, he only speaks for Hillary. Even if he intentionally left out Obama on that statement, it still does not necessary that he implies Obama is NOT patriotic.
If Mark Twins said Some Congressmen are dogs, then it may imply some are not dogs (Because we are human beings by default definition).
But if Mark Twin said some Congressmen are human beings, does that imply some Congressmen ARE DOGS? No, it could be CATS, BUGS, FISH, or still VERY WELL HUMAN BEINGS.
Logically if you state something is true, IT IS NOT NECESSARY THE REST IS NOT TRUE. IT CAN BE TRUE AND CAN BE FALSE.
Give you Media a MATH or Logic lesson. Goldbach conjectured every even number is the sum of two primes. But it has been listed that many even numbers are the sum of two primes. BUT THAT DOES MEAN THE REST IS TRUE OR FALSE. IT SIMPLY DOES NOT KNOW.
THAT PROVES MEDIA EITHER IDIOTS OR BIAS.
It also shows Bill Clinton is THE MASTER.

S. Wilson. Nice attempt to twist the facts. Clinton nor any other president paid down the National DEBT, he did however eliminate the National DEFICIT creating a surplus. Bush never had a surplus in his whole frickin' life and added $4T to the DEBT. When you get through Economics 101 next semester come on back and rephrase your bogus statement.

Non-fiction, this is what Bill Clinton said: “I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country,” he said in Charlotte, N.C. “And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics.”

My grandfather was a minister (white church), he was a good man and I loved him but in the 27 years that I listened to him preach there were a whole host of things I heard him say that I disagreed with.
Like I said, as a whole he was a good man BUT I didn't always agree with him and I never left.
If you ever find someone who you agree with 100% of the time then I suggest that you leave because you have stopped challenging yourself to learn or think and you have therefore become a non-thinking robot.
I'm disgusted at how people have tried to score political points off of this pastor nonsense but I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore after the swiftboat stuff from 2004.

I am an Obama supporter and would not consider Clinton as a candidate. Fischer's statement although true is tasteless and fitting for the Clintons to say but not Obama's campaign. The part about questioning Obama's loyalty is McCarthy-like, maybe not that extreme only because he has not yet repeated it.
Seems to me that Hillary Clinton can't run a campaign without her husband. His breeding is suspect to say the least. But bringing that up is not helpful. Fischer apologizes but the smug Mr Clinton behaves as if he were not classless grunt he is.
The Clinton's behave like Mr Bush. There is an episode almost daily that draws me to the same conclusion. We need to improve this country and a Bush clone with a liberal agenda will not cut it. We can't undo the past but we can make sure that are leaders be square with us in the future. The Clinton's are incapable of that.
Just because the Republicans have screwed us does not mean we should screw the Republicans. If the Democrats nominate Clinton I will vote for a Republican president for the first time because I believe that Clinton is not concerned about us, only about her career. I will vote for my own self interest and that means McCain this year.

I see this as Barack crying about playing fair and then "advising" his hired white help to sling as much mud as possible. There is no way that anyone can reference Bill Clinton's remarks as being as bad as Mr. Wright's "God Damn America" or this goofball talking about the blue dress. How about Obama calling his grandmother a "typical" white person.
I started out supporting John Edwards and was undecided between Hillary and Barack. The events over the past month and the reactions by the candidates have made up my mind for Hillary. Actually it is against Barack, because if he gets the nomination, then I will vote Republican for the first time in my life. People have the right to freedom of speech, and they also have the freedom to vote as they want. Mr. Wright can say anything that he wants, on the other hand, I can vote for whoever I want. Freedom is great, it goes both ways.

If there's one thing the Clinton's learned from the Republicans is how to lead the Press by the nose. Once again the MSM follows their direction and blows up nothing into something. The Clinton sliming that came out after Super Tuesday has threatened the Democrat's ability to take the WH. Her constant twisting and spinning of the 'meaning' of wins and losses and insistence on her 'right' to the Presidency WILL be a stain on the Party and the Clinton Legacy. Time for Hilary to step down before she does serious damage to the Party.

And enough with this "throwing granny under the bus" and "typical white person" rhetoric. Your ideological commitments have made you entirely incapable of seeing reality, even as it slaps you in the face. Have we seriously come to the point where we cannot admit that racial stereotypes are widespread or "typical?" Obama wasn't saying anything about white people's intentions or about conscious bigotry. He was talking about subconscious and socially ingrained emotions and stereotypes. If we cannot admit that our culture is deeply and unfairly ingrained with fears of Black criminality and aggression, then what can we admit? I pray for your willingness to prize reality and truth more than your other commitments.

I like Bill Maher's joke that he was never prouder of Bill Clinton than when he parsed the meaning of the word 'is' in the middle of the latest attempt to subvert the results of an election (apparently this was before the Republicans figured out how to do it legally). Talk about protecting voting rights!
I was never prouder of Bill Clinton for saying he did not have 'sex' with that woman. He didn't consider what canoodling he'd done with a very strange woman to be 'sex'--in fact the Journal of the AMA fired an editor who printed the results of a poll showing most men don't find what Bill did with Monica to be sex. (Of course he had to be fired despite a long, amazing career). Too bad most doctors will actually make more money under universal health care--they don't deserve it if that's the way their major organization behaves.
As for McCarthyite tactics--Michelle and Barack began their campaign by (in Michelle's case) trashing Hilary's marriage and, in the campaign's case, calling everyone who criticized it racist. "Are you now or have you ever been a 'typical' white person seems to be the new mantra. And I don't see how this ends the war in Iraq, stops the spying on you and me at home, gives everyone universal health CARE as opposed to insurance. What a waste of time and money.
Hope the Obamas are having fun on their vaca.

The Clintons and the Clintonites want it both ways.

But you are not supposed to hold them to anything they say.
Then, lo and behold, they get all prissy about an unfortunate mention of a stain on a blue dress.
The allusion wasn't uplifting, and therefore was unfortunate to be associated with the Obama campaign.
But even the mention doesn't compare with Bill Clinton's serial loutishness, and Hillary's enabling behaviors starting at least with Gennifer Flowers--all so she could share power.
The victims of Lewinsky et. al. were not the Clintons.
It may or may not have been Lewinsky et. al. (We were not there.)
And the victimizers were not just a band of hypocritical GOPers like Newt Gingrich and Bob Livingston.
The real victims were the American people.
Thanks for the memories, Bill, Hillary, Newt, Bob, and the rest of you who chose the paths you did and thus succeeded in making politics, not an honorable adventure as Robert F. Kennedy used to say, but a swamp tailor made for privateers.
(For those who mock Barack Obama's politics of hope, remember it was the tough but sensitive RFK who used to challenge us not to see things as they are, and ask why, but to dream of things that never were, and say, why not?)
Obama still offers that hope and those dreams.
Let's make politics an honorable adventure once again, Democrats.
But Bill and Hillary had their chance and blew it.
Let the torch pass to others, more ennobling and more worthy.

Bill Clinton knows what he is doing.
He is a master of throwing stones then trying to hide his hand.
The Clintons and the Clintonites want it both ways.
You are supposed to appreciate how slick they are.
But you are not supposed to hold them to anything they say.
Then, lo and behold, they get all prissy about an unfortunate mention of a stain on a blue dress.

Fee, fee, fi, fi, fo-fo, fum
Look at Molly now, here she comes
Wearin her wig hat and shades to match
Shes got high-heel shoes and an alligator hat
Wearin her pearls and her diamond rings
Shes got bracelets on her fingers, now, and everything
Shes the devil with the blue dress, blue dress, blue dress,
Devil with the blue dress on
Devil with the blue dress, blue dress, blue dress,
Devil with the blue dress on
Wearin her perfume, Chanel No. 5
Got to be the finest girl alive
Lyrics courtesy the Top40db
She walks real cool, catches everybodys eye
Shes got such good lovin that they cant say goodbye
Not too skinny, shes not too fat
Shes a real humdinger and I like it like that
Shes the devil with the blue dress on, blue dress on, blue dress on,
Devil with the blue dress on
Devil with the blue dress, blue dress, blue dress,
Devil with the blue dress on
Good golly, Miss Molly
You sure like to ball
Good golly, Miss Molly
You sure like to ball
While youre rockin and rollin
Cant you hear your mama call
From the early, early mornin til the early, early night
See Miss Molly rockin at the House of Blue Lights
Good golly, Miss Molly
You sure like to ball
While youre rockin and rollin
Cant you hear your mama call
(medley)
wearing a pearl and diamond ring
devil with a blue dress, blue dress...........

I really wish that Obama supporters would stop using up space here with talking about Obama as their Messiah or leader. I think they intend to show their support for a winner, but it makes them look like fanatical losers and only fuels a negative fire. OBama is a great candidate, but I know he is attracting more solid and rational persons than those found here!!!!

Crap, I forgot to address the thread topic: Um, do you HRC fans really think that the Clintons' actions while he was in the house last time would not eventually come into this, with all the mud that you have thrown? My gosh, this is not guilt-by-association, or "what ifs", this crap really happened!!! It is FACT and TRUTH, which are two words that scare the bejeezes out of HRC fans.
That said though, I'd just as soon talk about her flawed policies, rather than rehash the mud that we know about.
I also heard a REALLY interesting thing on NPR today. The talk was titled "If Obama had to give a speach on race, should Hillary be forced to give a speach on Bill"!!! Obama has always been straight forward with his talks, and he DIRECTLY addressed this latest bit of mud about religion. I would love for HRC to address the subject of Bill with the kind of talk that Obama exhibited with his biggest mistake. If HRC does not address that topic, she will only have a 1% chance of making president, thus cutting her odds in half.

Forget the blue dress remark and apology, it is not important...where is Obama taking a break from his vacation to rebuke the comments of his newest preacher, Otis Moss III who on Easter Sunday practiced a disparaging and dangerous form of race baiting? Seems rather convenient he got out of Dodge just in time to have culpable deniability.

So what's new from the Obama camp? Let me guess, he had no idea this sort of vitrolic language was being spewed. Hmmmm. Sounds familiar. Obama and his campaign are playing typical good/cop bad cop, political dirty tricks. Let's see shall we re-open his comments about how all white people are "typical white people?" I better not otherwise, Obama's camp will pull out and whine about the race card. Boohoo, McCain and Clinton are playing dirty.
At least McCain and Clinton are committed to this country and not Africa and willing to pledge allegiance to both our flag and our country, which is a lot to be said about Obama's who heart and soul is dedicated to the motherland of Africa, where his father deserted him to return and father 5 other children from 3 other women. Hmmm. Low blow?

Well, I just had my first post blocked here due to my response to Obamamania from above. So, I will try to tone it down a bit: Obamamania: You are easily seen as a deceptive Republican here. I see the error in my blocked post, and I will never use the phrase puke sniffing again!! LOL!! That said though, many Republicans are good people, it's just that some have completely lost their morals in this race. Quit lying and decieving and let the candidates win or loose on merit alone.

Here we go again, the big Obama change people wallowing in the gutter of years ago. Move on people. God forgives when we believe and repent.
As for Richardson, with friends like him, who needs enemies? He has turned his back on them just as the blacks in this country have done to Hillary. When Richardson said that Obama was the best uniter for the races. Where has he been all these years when the Clintons have done more for all races than anyone else in politics? At least the hispanics have stayed loyal to Hillary. My we sure have strange bedfellows when we look for political gain!

Thanks Reverand Ann for your pulpit speach, but I (being relatively smart) choose to believe in the dinosaurs that I see evidence in, and have factual science to back up. One could easily say that you and I have chosen our candidates with the same techniques that we chose our beliefs in. I wish healing for you before Nov.

Another tit for tat between Obama vs. Clinton. Two most important Democrats and their surrogates and followers are tearing each other. To call for the blue dress semen' is very undemocratic. To quote the pastor of Obama as America hater is also equally undemocratic. We don't need this two candidates. Let's go with Al Gore, Obama and Clinton cannot solve the cleavage that has been created by this heated campaigns. If Obama followers think that they are righteous and they can handle the General Election without the help of Hillary voters, so be it. Democrats will lose again in November. Continue tearing up the Clintons, California, Florida and Ohio will never side with Obama!

Clinton can easily get the nomination. If Clinton wins PA and gets within 100 delegates the Super Delegates will be supporting her.
Remember, the Presidential election is not about the majority of the votes, but the majority of delegates.
If the delegates think Hillary is better than Obama, they should give it to her. I think Obama is stained by racism. It will hurt him and the Dem party in Nov is he stays in.
The Super Delegates owe it to the Democrats to put the best nominee forward.
Just remember, the President is not elected by the people. He or she is elected by Delegates.
So there is nothing wrong with the Delegates putting the strongest candidate forward.

All politicians are using their supporters to launch below the belt type launches.
A curve ball to avoid real topics or to distract from a current valid topic.
Obama clearly does not possess the attributes he espouses, but Oprah's multimedia machine sure has groomed him into a really great actor & speech giver, gotta give him that...
First he said he'd abide by the DNC's Michigan re-vote decision, but that was before he changed his mind when the Clinton side found money to pay for it.
Then he said the reason he didn't want to do this was because it was unfair for "their side" to provide for a "paid for" election.
Then in front of the whole world to see on CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Carville said that was a simple discrepancy to correct; Have the Obama side pay for half of it, to which Obama's weasel Dashe spokesman put a poop eating grin on his face & then pointed to some other excuse, etc.
So clearly, Obama is a LIAR.

MYTH: Barack Obama is running a positive campaign that will unite Americans.
FACT: Barack Obama and his advisers have conducted a divisive "full assault" on Hillary's character.
While talking a lot about the politics of hope, change and unity, Sen. Obama and his campaign have been conducting a relentless and singularly personal assault on Hillary's character. They have blanketed big states with false negative mailers and radio ads and have described Hillary and her campaign as "disingenuous," "divisive," "untruthful," "dishonest," "polarizing," "calculating," "saying whatever it takes to win," "attempting to deceive the American people," "one of the most secretive in America," “deliberately misleading,” “literally willing to do anything to win,” and “playing politics with war."
This "full assault" on Hillary's integrity and character has reached a new peak since Hillary's victories on March 4th. One of Sen. Obama's top surrogates equated President Clinton with Joe McCarthy; another called Hillary a "monster;" and his campaign manager held an angry conference call claiming that Hillary is "deeply flawed" and has "character issues." That's neither unifying nor hopeful. If Sen. Obama really is the prohibitive favorite some say he is, these negative attacks make absolutely no sense. Why would a frontrunner seek to attack and divide? If Sen. Obama can't unify Democrats in a primary, how can he unify Americans in a general election?
CNN-Passport exec is Obama adviser, CEO of the company whose employees accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is consultant on foreign policy to the Barack Obama campaign
Obama Flip-Flops
1. Special interests In January, the Obama campaign described union contributions to the campaigns of Clinton and John Edwards as "special interest" money. Obama changed his tune as he began gathering his own union endorsements. He now refers respectfully to unions as the representatives of "working people" and says he is "thrilled" by their support
2. Public financing Obama replied "yes" in September 2007 when asked if he would agree to public financing of the presidential election if his GOP opponent did the same. Obama has now attached several conditions to such an agreement, including regulating spending by outside groups. His spokesman says the candidate never committed himself on the matter.
3. The Cuba embargo In January 2004, Obama said it was time "to end the embargo with Cuba" because it had "utterly failed in the effort to overthrow Castro." Speaking to a Cuban American audience in Miami in August 2007, he said he would not "take off the embargo" as president because it is "an important inducement for change."
4. Illegal immigration In a March 2004 questionnaire, Obama was asked if the government should "crack down on businesses that hire illegal immigrants." He replied "Oppose." In a Jan. 31, 2008, televised debate, he said that "we do have to crack down on those employers that are taking advantage of the situation."
5. Decriminalization of marijuana While running for the U.S. Senate in January 2004, Obama told Illinois college students that he supported eliminating criminal penalties for marijuana use. In the Oct. 30, 2007, presidential debate, he joined other Democratic candidates in opposing the decriminalization of marijuana.

Clinton is grasping at straws.
Barack Obama has more legislative experience than she does and she knows it.
When Barack was in the Illinois State House, he passed legislation that lowered taxes for middle income families. In the US Senate, he worked with Dick Lugar to prevent loose Nukes in the old Soviet Union block countries, and on the Veteran's Administration Committee, he has worked to secure benefits for our nations war hero's.
Barack was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, and he taught Constitutional Law, has worked as a Civil Rights Attorney and a community organizer.
The truth is Senator Obama has a wealth of expertise and experience. And unlike Hillary Clinton, in my opinion Obama is a statesman the likes of which we have not seen in politics.
Hilary Clinton should stop lying to the America people!!!

The candidate of hope from the church of hate is a charlatan who has done a great job of destroying the democratic party. Can you say hello president McCain, I can.
