Lisa Marie Presley thinks she has a problem.
She claims she was pressured into revealing her pregnancy after enduring cruel comments about her "expanding physique." She says: "After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant.''
How about being called "a monster.''
That's what Sen. Hillary Clinton endured this week.
How about being compared to Ken Starr, the Whitewater prosecutor.
That's what Sen. Barack Obama endured this week.
In comparison, being tagged as pregnant seems pretty tame.
But then, Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late and still often-spotted "King'' of rock and roll, is not a few hundred delegates short of winning a right to bid for the White House.

Mark!
This is so beneath you!
You're stretching, dude.

Paulo...you where in Memphis? Did you get a chance to sling around some of those very funny fried chicken jokes?

Is she running for office? Does she hold an office in government? The answer is no to both questions. She wasn't tagged pregnant, she was tagged as an obese replica of her father. It was not ever mentioned that she may be pregnant.
The comparision of her to Clinton and Obama is just silly.

Oh, give me a break! Being called a "monster" is what Clinton "endured" this week? Poor baby! Her husband probably calls her worse than that! And I saw the pics of Lisa Marie...she is fat! I did not even recognize her..."horribly manipulated pictures"? I don't think so..too many cheeseburgers! FAT and not baby fat....

The difference is that Hillary and Obama put themselves in the spotlight, she had no choice in the matter. This is not a fair comparison. I thought better of the Swamp than this.

Some people think the daughter of Elvis is fat, BUT she is in fact pregnant. WOW....knock me over with a feather ...this is news. It's good to know the population is thus enlightened.

Breaking News!!! Major Political Scandal!!!
Large numbers of Republicans have been voting for Barack Obama in the DEMOCRATIC primaries, and caucasus. Because they feel he would be a weaker opponent against John McCain. And because they feel that a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket would be unbeatable.
Hillary Clinton has actually won by much larger margins than the vote totals showed. And lost by much smaller vote margins than the vote totals showed. Her delegate count is actually much higher than it shows. And higher than Obama’s. HILLARY CLINTON IS ALREADY THE TRUE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!
As much as 30% of Obama's primary, and caucus votes are Republicans trying to choose the weakest democratic candidate for McCain to run against. These Republicans have been gaming the caucuses where it is easier to vote cheat. This is why Obama has not been able to win the BIG! states primaries. Even with Republican cheating.
If Obama is the democratic nominee for the national election in November he will be slaughtered. Because the vote cheating help will suddenly evaporate. All of this vote fraud and republican manipulation has made Obama falsely look like a much stronger candidate than he really is.
The democratic party needs to fix this outrage. I suggest a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket now! All democrats need to throw all your support to Hillary Clinton. So you can end this outrage against YOU the voter, and against democracy.
Fortunately the Clinton’s have been able to hold on against this fraudulent outrage with those repeated dramatic comebacks of Hillary Clinton’s. Only the Clinton’s are that resourceful, and strong. Hillary Clinton is your WINNER! They are the best I have ever seen.
You should be angry America. “This is not a game” (Hillary Clinton)
Sincerely
jacksmith...

Obama-Clinton, Clinton-Obama – either dream team is McCain’s worst nightmare. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama can easily make that nightmare a reality for him now. Here’s how:
Both publicly pledge that if are nominated for President, the other candidate will be their first choice for the Vice Presidential spot.
This immediately puts a stop to attacks on the other, or calling their ability into question. They can still debate the issues and clarify their differences, but the main focus of their anger and outrage can now be directed at the Bush-McCain policies of the past 8 years.
The enthusiastic support of the other is exactly what each candidate will need in the fall to win. Each appeals to the voters the other has the hardest time attracting. If they combine their strengths – “hope” and “work” - they both will almost certainly be in a position to lead America out of the mess we are in.
