LAS VEGAS -- In a state where nearly a quarter of the residents are Hispanic, the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama unveiled two new television ads that will run in Spanish.
The campaign said a 60-second ad called "Hope" and and a 30-second ad called "Something is Happening" will run concurrently in the state in advance of Saturday's Nevada caucuses.
The ads are the campaign's first Spanish-language television ads to run in Nevada, although it has run Spanish ads on radio across the state.

Comments
Posting Spanish adds in their newspaper will not help a candidate that much as most of them are illegal and can not vote.

Before any of the Republic Hispanic hate crowd chimes in take a moment to remember President Bush speaking in Spanish when he was courting the Latino vote. Why were you silent then?

John,
You forgot that the Republicans like Hispanics.

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. Please be seated. Siéntese. Gracias. Bienvenidos a la Casa Blanca, también el jardín de las rosas. It's a beautiful day. I'm glad you're here. Thanks for coming as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Every year at this time, we recognize the rich cultural traditions of the Hispanic American community -- and the great contributions of Hispanic Americans to our country and our character. That's why we're here.

A quarter of Nevada's population is Hispanic and you're claiming they're mostly illegal? If that's true, then who's hiring them? That should be the main issue.
Also, Giuliani has been running Spanish ads in Florida, while saying Americans should speak English. How come McCormick doesn't write about that?

Why anyone would vote to send the Clintons back to the White House is beyond me.That's just dysfunctional!

My grandmother had a saying she often used regarding hope. "If you spit in one hand and hope in the other, which one fills up first?"
Obama, whose immigration voting record is decidedly anti-American working poor, talks much about "change." So when will the American people be given an opportunity to see his game plan for change? So far, it's all foam and no beer on the campaign trail.

English will someday become our national language ...but, liberals like Obama, voted against it so they could pander for votes.
No English, No Vote!

I know many recent arrivals from Mexico, and believe me; I trust and like them as people much more that I would trust Paulo, John D, Bruce, Terry, etc. (The Droogs)
In fact, I wouldn't trust one of the Droogs with my wallet or car keys.
These Mexican people on the other hand, are hard working, honest, friendly, and grateful to be here.
Plus, they are learning English on their own as fast as they can.

The Republic Party knows how to do hypocrisy better than anyone.

It is quite clear. Obama and the democrats want to legalize illegal immigrants as quickly as possible, and allow them to vote. Why else would you campaign in spanish?
They would also love to get them issued driver's licenses for proof of residence so as many as possible can vote illegally ... notice how they want NO proof of ID at the poles?
They know these poor uneducated people will vote overwhelmingly democrat to keep those entitlements coming.
