Sen. Hillary Clinton may be the dominant front-runner in the Democratic campaign for president, but Gallup has found that Americans rate both Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois “roughly the same’’ when asked about their leadership abilities. And they rank former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina “not too bar behind.’’
Yet former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, also the front-runner among Republican candidates for president, rates significantly better than some of his better-known rivals on this question. That includes former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee.
The findings of Gallup’s Nov. 2-4 survey -- which also portrays Clinton six percentage points ahead of Giuliani in a hypothetical election match-up -- suggest that “while Clinton is well respected by Democrats, she runs a deficit among Republicans relative to her Democratic challengers -- one that could have implications for the general election if it persists.’’
Gallup asked respondents whether each of the six candidates rated in the survey “has the personality and leadership qualities a president should have,” and whether they agree or disagree with each candidate “on the issues that matter most to you.”
Americans are slightly more likely to say Clinton has the personality and leadership qualities needed in a president than to say they agree with her on the issues, though a majority of Americans say both statements are true, Gallup reports today. And “ Giuliani and Obama receive nearly the same ratings as Clinton on both dimensions.’’

Hillary's leadership capabilities? What has she ever led? She has never held an executive position. And now when the media want to find out something about the "experience" she claims to have, she and Bill shut off access to their files. Never has there been a candidate that the public knows so well but knows so little in detail about. And the major media seem content to leave it that way.

Rudy Ghouliani = George W. Bush/Dick Cheney Part 2:
http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/13262.html
Rudy bases his whole 2008 campaign strategy on lies about what he did before, during and after 9/11.

Hillary would wipe the floor with the arrogant, loathsome lying little twit that is Rudy, she's done it before and she'll do it again.

While the Democratic primary race may be down to three candidates, the Republican primary race is not.

Hillary cannot continue to be perceived as a leader when she cuts Americans out of the conversation by refusing to state her views on critical issues like Social Security until some hypothetical future "bipartisan commission" is held. Obama gets the "fierce urgency of now". Clinton does not seem to have grasped that and her campaign for president seems to be pushed more by a sense of "it's my turn" entitlement than by a sense of purpose.
Democratic voters: WAKE UP! There's a lot at stake.

Ahh Bruce, it's never too late to trot out your LaFayette alter-ego is it. So sad.

Hillary a leader? She can't even give a direct answer to a direct question. She's stolen campaign slogans, sound bites and policy positions from Edwards, Obama and even Bill Richardson. She won't speak to 'enemy' leaders because she's afraid of propaganda. She changes her position depending on what will benefit her politically at the time. She didn't even bother to read the NIE before giving this president the authorization to go to war! Where has she ever lead?
