Are Hillary and Obama FINALLY going to give back all the "bundle" donations from Hsu's donors now? They gave back his personal contributions but not those of other donors he drummed up. Money it's now believed was illegally reimbursed.

This is not at all surprising of a Clinton campaign since Hwang did the same thing when Bill Clinton was running. Lovely people, those Clintons, aren't they?

Of the many charges brought against the Clinton's the most valid ones dealt with fundraising.

Sure all politicians do it, but not all do it as well as the Clintons.

From a business perspective let me put it this way: No businessman is going to give millions of dollars to a politician unless he/she thinks to get something out of it. They knew if they got Bush elected they would get tax breaks / military contracts / special laws (like the one where medicare can't negotiate with drug companies.) They know the same thing about Clinton.

Please, anybody but Clinton (and Romney for the same reason.)

He "bundled" on behalf of candidates other than Hillary -- Obama being one, Swamp.

Oddly enough, the other candidates have been eerily silent about this whole nonsense. And we know why. To paraphrase: those candidates among the field who are without this ersatz "sin", let him cast the first stone. They can't, because they cannot know what skeletons lie in their own donors' closets.

Obama's exceptionally quiet because he's got his Rezko as well as Hsu. Dig deep enough and we'll find plenty of Hsu's on both sides of the aisle in this race -- yes even Edwards. The republicans are probably somewhat wistful that Gonzo is not around to serve as Ken Starr reprised.

Anyway, even Edwards and Obama the "outsiders" readily accept money from so-called bundlers such as Hsu, while hypocritically grousing about Washington lobbyists.

It'll be interesting to see how Swamp treats the Rezko matter as it proceeds. Or should I say, "would be interesting", since I doubt very highly that we'll see many Swamp banners such as "Obama donor's trial begins..."

Neither linkage is fair. But if Swamp is going to be unfair, it should be unfair fairly.

Well, Mr. Anonymous, whoever you are. I have to say that you are right, in the issue that we should stick to the facts. Lets see, was it Hillary Clinton's responsibility that Hsu was illegally generating money that went into her campaign? I don't think so. Hsu is responsible for his own actions and has nothing to do with the Clintons.
Now, lets face the next question. Is there a Republican canidate out there that can manage America? Well, the half brained chimpanzee that sits behind the desk in the oval office right now isn't doing such a hot job is he? Giulliani doesn't appear much better. All I see in Giulliani is a selfish man, who cares more about his ego than the effects his decisions will have on people. Sounds kind of like the president we have now, huh?
The greatest concern for me going into this next election is that all the republicans are gung-ho for a war with Iran. We are already in two wars, do all republicans think we really need to fight the entire middle east? Let it go man, America has no support in the world right now because of our actions in Iraq, and you republicans want to further alienate our nation because you follow the egos of idiots.

Absolute poppycock. There was article yesterday in the WaPo about the similarly scandalous Romney Campaign with their many indicted donors, and it was buried on A24.

The myth of the "liberal media" is just that, a myth.

So Hsu gets captured and Osama Bin Laden has released his 3rd video in 2 weeks 6 years after 9/11. I hope the Republics want to talk about this "victory".

It is interesting that Hillary Clinton backed away from Mr. Hsu when his campaign shenanigans became public. This was not always the case, going back some years to when she was First Lady and Bill was President.

According to Charles R. Smith, writing for Softwar, states:

Hillary Clinton has have taken money from the Chinese. Not just once but many times. For example, in February 1995 Johnny Chung asked DNC Chairman Don Fowler to help him get a photo op of Bill Clinton with a few friends from China.

Fowler declined to help Chung because the list of friends included Zheng Hongye, a top executive of the Chinese navy-owned shipping company COSCO. In response, Chung handed a $50,000 check to Maggie Williams, Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff. On March 11, 1995, Chung and Zheng attended Clinton’s weekly radio address, which was later followed by a photo session.

Chung later noted that the money came directly from the hands of General Ji, then head of the PLA military intelligence department. Ji handed the money to Chung with the famous words,” We like your president (Clinton). We want him re-elected.”

Still, Mrs. Clinton has a few of her own pictures to live down, including one with convicted “Chinagate” figure Moctar Riady. Yet, the many pictures of Hillary with the Riady family never made it into her “tell-all” book because that family photo series ties her at the hips with Beijing.

The Riady family is a direct link to the Chinese Army. According to a U.S. Senate report, Moctar and his billion dollar company the Lippo Group, was directly in business with the Chinese military intelligence.

Of course, if you ask Hillary, she has never heard of the Riady family. Then again, the relationship between the Clintons and the Riadys spans all the way back to Arkansas when Moctar bought out the Little Rock Worthen Bank.

James Riady pled guilty to passing illegal money through Hillary and Bill in the form of illegal donations. Moctar’s personal gardener once handed Bill Clinton a $450,000 check with the words “James Riady sent me”.

Efforts to question the gardener were unsuccessful since he and his wife skipped America right after the donation.

The question of where or how a gardener could get $450,000 was answered later. It seems that the Riady family gave him $500,000 but only $450,000 managed to fall out of his pocket and into Clinton hands.

Then there is the problem of ex-Lippo employee John Huang. Huang was also a close friend of the Clintons. Curiously, John managed to leave his six figure job as a VP at the Lippo Group, take a pay cut, and obtain top secret clearance at the U.S. Commerce Department under Ron Brown.

I know that John could not have gotten this job based on his skill level because I have a letter written by Huang to Ron Brown prior to his government employment.

“Daer Ron”, starts Huang. No kidding here - he spelled “dear” as “daer”.

“Congratulations for great performance during yesterday Senate hearing. I was watching it in the Senate Russell Building and came away with the strong feeling that you will do an outstanding job as Secretary of the Department of Commerce in the coming years,” noted Huang.

“I was trying to reach you. But there were too many people there and I was not successful to do it,” struggled Huang.

“What I really want to do is to identify a convenient time in the coming week to arrange a meeting between you and Dr. Mochtar Riady, our Group Chairman. Dr. Riady will be coming to the States. I firmly believe such a meeting will be quite beneficial and valuable given Dr. Riady’s many years experience in the business arena. In fact, he is so good that he has been named as advisor to two of largest Japanese Banks (Tokai Bank and Daiwa Bank). Dealing with Japan and other Asian matters will be all of our important agenda.”

Clearly, English was not John’s forte but he was accepted for work at Clinton’s Commerce Department.

While at the “Commerce” Department, Huang obtained a wide variety of civilian and commercial data, including details on Patriot missile sales, F-15 and F-16 fighter jet sales, and bribes paid to the Indonesian dictator Suharto.

Of course, no one has even explained to me why the Commerce Department was involved in military equipment and kick-backs to dictators. Then again, maybe I an ignorant of the ways one can classify a Patriot missile as civilian.

Huang later pled guilty to passing Chinese money into the coffers of the DNC for the Clintons. In fact, Huang cited his Fifth Amendment rights over 2,000 times when asked if he was an agent of the Chinese military.

No one even answered the questions about how John got his job at Commerce - except for the one fact that slipped out - the pressure to hire Huang came from Mrs. Clinton’s office.

Finally, there is the 1995 photo of Ng Lapseng and Mrs. Clinton taken in front of a DNC symbol. The photo of Ng Lapseng is very telling in that Mrs. Clinton was certainly aware that Ng owns the Macao-based Fortuna Hotel. It is nice little hotel where children under 12 can stay free.

However, according to the Fortuna brochure, for a large fee, you can buy the services of a hostess. To be precise, Ng is actually a brothel owner. Even more amazing is Hillary Clinton’s silence on Ng Lapseng and the money that somehow slipped out of his pockets that fell into DNC coffers at the same time.

Ng has been linked to Chinese espionage involving U.S. satellites and later with the sale of a Russian aircraft carrier that somehow ended up in the main base of the Chinese Navy.

Don’t ask Hillary about Ng, Huang, Chung, or Riady. She won’t remember. However, the Chinese Army will remember and recall those memories to her whenever they need a favor.

Re: Hsu Indicted In New York

This is priceless...a fundraiser for clinton is charged with running a private sector Ponzi scheme, while clinton supports the government run Ponzi scheme, Socialist Insecurity.
Not to minimize the losses suffered by Hsu`s clients, but since the inception of Socialist Insecurity, millions of FICA payers have been defrauded out of their FICA `contributions,` if they didn` live to collect any benefits, or had no eligible survivors.
Hsu could get jailed; clinton could get elected...ah, the double standards of politics, ya gotta love it.
