recall that the "study" the good senator quoted was produced at Indiana University, which has gotten a gigantic grant from big Demo funder George Soros,and the J school got a juicy gift from his "Center For American Progress" which paid for the aforementioned "study". It's hardly a statistically correct gem!

O'Reilly, much as I don't like him, is a master at it and is the far and away leader on cable television news. And then he succeeds in getting other media to report on his successful effort. If the other media had not reported on the Dodd interview, 298 million Americans would have been unaware of it.

Hey Doug, I'd like to think you have the potential to be a class act, but I'm not sure. So,tell me this. O'Reilly showed a picture to Chris Dudd that has been on the DailyKos for over a year now in which Joe Lieberman is bent over and his head is right next to Bush's crotch. Dodd would not condemn that photo.
The DailyKos also had a picture up for three years in its website in which it shows Bush having sex with a donkey. So, tell me this: Do you condone that stuff or not?
Also, that study Dudd noted about O'Reilly saying something vile every 6.8 seconds: Bogus.

Let me also ask you and your brethren these questions:
1. Bill O'Reilly actively has been getting states to pass Jessica's Law, which requires a mandatory minimum sentence for child rapists, so that what happended to Jessica Lunsford (the youg girl from Florida who was repeatedly raped by a child predator and then buried alive) does not happen again or the liklihood is lessened). Do you folks support those efforts or no?
2. Do you folks believe that those who rape children should be out on parole or given six-month sentences for repeatedly raping children?
3. While I don't agree with the whole man-made global warming theory, O'Reilly does. Do you agree or disagree with him?
4. O'Reilly has been going after the oil companies for price gouging. Do you agree or disagree with O'Reilly on this issue?
Finally, has irony has it, a coworker of mine actually knew Markos Moulitsas Zuniga and worked with him at the NIU paper.

Fact is, the leftists who post on DailyKos routinely spew the vilest kind of hate. The latest kookiness: saying President Bush ordered the assassination of Pat Tillman!

Or consider the anti-semitic rants, such as these: "as everybody knows, jews ONLY care about the welfare of other jews; thanks ever so much for reminding everyone of this most salient fact, so that we might better ignore all that jewish propaganda [by Lieberman] about participating in the civil rights movement of the 60s and so on."

And Democrats such as Chris Dodd kowtow to these nutcases.

This is nothing new from O'Reilly. Time and time again, it's shown what a liar he truly is - yet his blind sheep believe every word he says because he comes across like the tough bully.

He had no real answers - only denials.

The fact of the matter is, anyone with "the google" can verify what he's said - including the al-Qaeda remark in 2005.

bill O's site has been littered with posts that advocated the overthrow of government through violent means and many other racsist, sexist and hurtful things. The people he's directly had on his show, including himself have said things on a weekly basis that are truly hateful.

While the Daily Kos website has had some questionable posts, the idea that it is overrun by "hate" is ridiculous. It's quite the opposite. It is a site that advocates bringing the troops home, being a willing party in protecting Americans freedoms & civil liberties and educating the American viewers about the happenings of American politics from a liberal point of view. The liberal point of view is something that O'Reily hates and has shown nothing but contempt for.

It's about time that he Dems stand up to the awfullness and hate that is Fox News. Good for Dodd!

More relevant than O'Reilly bashing someone every seven seconds is the fact that he never lets a callers talk for more than seven seconds. Whether you agree with him or not, you get to fire off one snippet of commentary which he then bashes with a rolling pin and then stamps with his cookie-cutter ideology.

Public radio, whatever its shortcomings, at least allows people to talk and express themselves.

In Chicago, O'Reilly has been bumped to the 2am-4am slot, probably because that's where he can do the least damage.

Every era has its issues. No era can afford to have someone or some company (Fox) distorting those issues for political or economic gain.

Senator, though I support an John Edwards in the race for our WH, I sent a donation to tour campaign after the appearence last night. I don't watch the hatemonger O'Lielly, but sure did enjoy seeing someone who has served this country for years stand up to the lies and deceipt that this vile animal espouses daily.

It was obvious that the "no spin", was spinning right down the toilet last night. Ole Lielly is at a loss when speaking to someone of the human species.

1) O'Reilly also said that the young men who were kidnapped in Missouri probably "enjoyed" their time with their kidnapper because they did not have to go to school. As a matter of fact, a group in Florida that was raising funds for missing and exploited children DISINVITED O'Reilly from one of their fund raising events because of this comment. Do you agree with that assessment?

2) I don't get this question - what does that have to do with what is being discussed here?

3) As a great man once said, even a broken clock is right two times a day.

4) A lot of people, right and left, think there was price gouging. I notice that with all of his "clout", nothing ever came of his call to action.

Does Bill O ever demand that Republican guests on his show disown specific posts on Republican leaning websites like FreeRepublic?

I did happen to watch this last night. I think what Dodd was doing was kiss-up to the far left bloggers and use O'Reilly as a fundraiser similar to how Edwards use Ann Coulter.
