Final update to House Judiciary fireworks

Kim Propeack, a lobbyist for CASA of Maryland who went to Tuesday's hearings in the House Judiciary Committee to testify against several bills seeking to crack down on illegal immigration, had a very different account than others about what led to the disarray discussed here

She said Del. Joseph Vallario did not cut off Susan Payne, who was testifying in support of the "crackdown" bills, but only urged her to focus her testimony on the legislation being considered, rather than on remarks Vallario made at a rally organized by CASA, an Latino and immigrant-rights advocacy group.

At that point, she said, Payne became upset and "started yelling at Vallario" and was approached by the Maryland State Trooper in the room.

Please post any further discussion about what went on in the committee room in our comments section below.

I was in the hearing room and also testified with Susan Payne. Susan and Delegate McDonough are telling the truth.

It would refreshing if just once, Delegate Victor Ramierez would stop
race-baiting speakers and playing the victim card every time the Judiciary Committe hears testimony that does NOT agree with his view that Maryland should do nothing to stop illegal immigration in this state--except ask for even more taxpayer money to provide benefits and services for illegal aliens.

It's even more outrageous that Chairman Vallario does nothing to stop these racist attacks on Maryland citizens who wait 6 hours to testify from delegates on his committee like Ramierez and exactly why we still have such a big problem in this state with the illegal immigration problem.

Those of us who have been working to save our state from becoming a total sanctuary for illegal criminals, and those who attended the Vallario hearing this week, know Propeack is lying. She is a paid lobbyist for the Central American Solidarity Association (CASA), working to weaken American citizenship, and lower the quality of life for Marylanders to the third world standards she seems to embrace.

Her efforts are discriminatory, and in ALL the public testimony that I have witnessed, racist remarks are constantly served up by those who support CASA, not the other way around. Victor Rameriz is a perfect example of race baiting and then crying victim.

Propeack is known to testify against English as our official language, in-state tuition for illegals, and for giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens. Her motives are simple, as any lobbyist, the more tax money she gets, the more job security she attains. Her positions often reflect a calculated attempt to eventually eliminate any legal distinctions between legal and illegal aliens, and make those who willfully violate our Federal laws on par with an American citizen.

Those "day laborers" are little more than her useful idiots.

The illegal alien rally held on Feb.25 of this year, was not only hate filled, but gave a glimpse into the kind of world the illegals would like for Americans, a country not only in violation of our Constitution, but filled with censorship and an encroaching dictatorship. Vallario is obviously embarassed and ashamed that he has been caught on film pandering, and is willing to violate the first ammendment in order to keep hidden his agenda.

America has experienced waves of immigration in its history, but never has she allowed herself to be manipulated by the illegal, mostly literate peasants of the third world. Such a course is destined for tragic consequences, and Maryland must resist these attempts on all levels.

To do otherwise, is asking the citizens to fund their own destruction.

CASA prepares comic books instructing illegals how NOT to cooperate with law enforcement, and demands rights for illegals through taxpayer funding and subsidies. Yet, when exposed, their quick response is to fabricate and run for cover.

CASA knows that its influence with elected officials is dwindling, and they are in a panic, often resorting to personal attacks to defend what are clearly indefensible positions.

Those of us who love this country, and this state, know a coward when we see one. Propeack isn't fooling anyone but herself.

I also was in the hearing room on Tuesday and testified in favor of banning Sanctuary Cities in Maryland. I was with dozens of supporters. Eleven other multi-ethnic members of Help Save Maryland, arriving from multiple counties, also testified, many for the first time ever. The committee chair, Delegate Joe Vallario and his partners Delegates Victor Ramirez and Benjamin Barnes, supporters of illegal aliens & CASA of Maryland, were confronted by the articulate and honest voices of their true Maryland constituents.

These pro-illegal alien Maryland Delegates were rude and disrespectful of much our testimony and asked many race-baiting and other nonsensical questions. We did not all take off from work and drive across the state to be treated like trash by our elected officials!

Even worse was the treatment given to the panel of Susan Payne of Citizens Above Party and Demos Chrissos of the National Voters Alliance. Both their testimonies were clearly on the mark, so much so that Delegate Vallario cut off Susan before her time was up. Demos was also rudely ignored by Vallario. It was a disgraceful display by Chairman Vallario and his illegal alien committee supporters.

CASA’s paid groupie Kim Propeack is wrong. Our citizens were violated by Vallario, Ramirez and Barnes. Its time for Delegate Vallario to step down as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. Its time to cut off all state and local funding for CASA of Maryland.
