Jon Cardin could start new business

If we would decriminalize drugs, Baltimore police would have time on their hands. Some of them could specialize in fake raids for wedding proposals. The service would provide a new and much-needed revenue source for the city. Of course a fake raid would be a bad idea in many neighborhoods. Gunfire would diminish the charm of the marriage proposal.

But seriously, a mock police raid for a proposal might be a good idea for someone running for the presidency of his fraternity, but for a public servant it is stupid to the nth degree. Jon Cardin should thank his lucky stars that no one was hurt.
