Fraser Smith, WYPR's senior news analyst, looks at the results of Maryland exit polling conducted by Edison Media Research for The Baltimore Sun and WYPR; Karen Hosler, WYPR contributing reporter, talks about the voting on the Eastern Shore and the hotly contested Kratovil-Harris congressional race in Maryland's First District, and U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin of Maryland talks about what the next Congress will look like and the fter all the dust settles on Election 2008.

Jan. 8, 2009, marked 30 years for Dan Rodricks' column in The Baltimore Sun. Over three decades, Dan has won numerous regional and several national awards for his reporting and commentary -- in print and on the air.
