Good. Ask him why the military is forced to suck and fail in Iraq, and how they really feel about being stuck there.
DR: Why don't you ask him? 410-662-8780. Also, not to quibble, Tubesock, but . . . David is in Afghanistan

I've followed David Wood's Military Watch blog ever since he arrived at Kandahar, Afghanistan. His photos and observations do such a great job reminding us back in the States that our loved ones are not only the unified fighting machine that they have trained to be, but they are still our husbands, wives, children and friends who need to eat, sleep, play, and brush their teeth every day!
I have a vested interest in following the blog. My oldest of six children is there. I am so proud of him but at the same time a little worried. Mr. Wood does much to alleviate that worry. God bless him.
Sincerely,

I want to compliment Mr. Woods on his selection of topics as well as his sensitivity. My son is with 1st platoon Alpha Company of the 1/6. This is his first deployment so his writings give me information that helps keep my mind from wondering what things are like. His sharing in their days and then writing about it brings me closer to my son than I ever thought possible. THANK YOU FOR THAT!! May God bless and protect Mr. Woods as well as all of our Mighty Marines.
