Just wondering if we will see any similar commentary on the Democratic party?

Maryland's Michael Steele is a national figure right now, and interest in news about him is high.
There's no agenda in highlighting news and commentary about him.
I notice you didn't comment on an earlier post on David Frum defending Michael Steele. Why not?
We cover flaps about Democrats and Republicans equally, as per your comments last week. We've written about O'Malley versus Franchot; Miller versus Busch; Franchot versus Jim Smith and any number of other Democratic controversies.

"There's no agenda in highlighting news and commentary about him."
David,
The sad part of the above statement is you believe that it's true. The Sun has a long recent tradition of reporting stories with an idelogical left perspective. Whether it touting O'Malley promise to stop the BGE rate increase or the simple action of failing to note party affliation when a politicial figure is arrested. (check the # of R's next to any Larry Craig article vs the # D next to any Tommy Bromwell article).
