Steele wants Palin support

As he campaigns for Republican National Chairman, Michael Steele is reaching out to the movers and shakers of his party.

CNN is reporting that Steele is trying to get in touch with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for some "face time", presumably to see if she supports his bid.

No word yet on what Palin has decided. The CNN article makes it sound like her call-back list is pretty long, what with Oprah, Letterman, Barbara Walters seeking Palin as well.

Good lord, why? Hasn't anyone learned from Palin being the kiss of death to McCain?

I'm amazed anyone still wants anything to do with her. Or that they wanted anything to do with her in the first place, considering how insane she is, but..

It's just one empty suit seeking support from another empty suit.

why are you surprised? Steele uses everyone and everything for his own gain. Remebr when Ehrlich was taken to task for hosting a fundraiser in an all white country club? His response was:"why should I care, I don't play golf!" Remember the phony "Steele Denocrat" signs? Not to mention the fraudulent sample ballots where he claimed to be supported by all the Democrats? He could care less. But the best one is when he criticizes the RNC for its lack of minority outreach. Ask him how many minorities are on his staff. This guy failed here so now he wants a promotion. It is his hope that the RNC will suffer from White Guilt. I say go for it! Let him do for them what he did for Republicans in Md.
