Proposed crab restriction options out

Here's the link to the story on crab restrictions, which will be in tomorrow's newspaper. But if anyone's logging on late at night, you can get it here. (Update: Here's the full version.)

There will be more on this tomorrow: DNR is holding a meeting at the church across the street from its headquarters on Taylor and Rowe. It's Calvary church, and the meeting starts at 7. I plan to be there and will likely post something Friday morning; I expect the meeting to run pretty late.

DNR officials want to stress that there are just options; nothing has been finalized, and probably won't be until month's end.

About Tim Wheeler
Tim WheelerI report on the environment and Chesapeake Bay. A native of West Virginia, I have focused mainly on Maryland's environment since moving here in 1983. Along the way, I've crewed aboard a skipjack in the bay, canoed under city streets up the Jones Fall from the Inner Harbor, and gone deep underground in a western Maryland coal mine. Recently, I have been covering the growth and development transforming the landscape. I love seafood, rambles in the country and good stories. I hope to share some here.
