So far we just have allegations of a crime that went three months unreported. One must wonder what kind of evidence can be produced. No mention has been made of witnesses or physical evidence. Without that we have nothing.

To all who have written... this pastor has his congregation feeling as if he is God! Of course it took time for her to come forward... she was scared! The police wouldn't charge him with anything unless there was probable cause.

This is an election year, and everyone is following the law to the letter! You best believe that the police have evidence and more women to corroborate this story. She isn't the only one! If there wasn't any hint of guilt, then he would have at least made a statement or something. But this arrogant Jamaican, feels as if he did nothing wrong.... makes you wonder what else he is hiding. The police should definitely look into his phone records... both at the church and his personal cell phones...

It is so unfortunate because Bishop is such a nice person. He will bend over backwards to help you if he can. He is even more likeable and funny than his wife. Though they really dont know how best to nurture people, really they gave it a good go and their intentions to operate a thriving church were indeed sincere.

But...alot of us knew there was a dark side. It was a well kept secret and unfortunately we chuckled a bit because he was such a flirt. We knew one day he would get busted, but like this?

I never imagined he would "force himself" on anyone, nor did I think his actions ever went beyond flirting. Although please keep in mind that the flirting was "rumor", I never actually saw it myself but I had spoken to many people that alleged he came onto them over the years. Years before this incident even took place. But never did anyone of those people say that he forced them to perform for him.

It never happened to me. I went to church there for a while. But it does take its toll on you, you wonder why you remain there with pastors telling you (in sometimes not so nice of a way) that you need to get yourself together and they cannot follow their own advice?

I am so sad to see it end up this way but honestly I am not suprised....

When it rains its pours! Roan Faulkner has danced the line far too long. He is the exact opposite from what a real pastor should be. Yeah... maybe he does nice things for people but even nice people will go to hell. If this man does not fess'-up to his wrong doings he will die a lonley, old bitter man.

I have met him in the past and what struck me is that he does not seem to be a humble man. Okay he does the who "jesus loves you" things, but he expects his members to serve him as if they owe him something.

And yes he does have a dark side. I was told first hand when he and his "church" were in Columbia that he came on to many women...especially those who were weak and really need help in their lives. I feel most sorry for his wife and children. His son will always live with this, because he bears his name. Good luck with background checks! His house of cards are crashing down.

I read on another blog his wife went to the hospital on Sunday with chest pains... i guess the stress is getting to her. Ppl need to understand that he is a regular man... who has regular urges and needs. with his wife suffering from back injuries I guess he wasn't getting "served-up" at home and had to look else where!

I hope the judge hits him with the harshest sentence to make an example out of him! There is another tell tale sign that something was going on with this pastor. How can you have almost no membership growth? all of the churches in that area of town (white or black) are growing. The man is evil and he wll pay for his deeds.

Legally it really doesn't matter if he is a notorious womanizer. It is not illegal to seduce people. Nor will it matter if it turns out that his background check is checkered, so to speak. Similarly the "membership growth" of his church indicates nothing.

The only issue here is whether or not he committed the crime and if the State can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

The state will have to prove both the act and that it was not consensual in a case that went unreported for months.

I see what this is..These are the same women who wanted so badly to be what Queen Esther is, which is Mrs Faulkner. For years, The Queen has been hated on for being the woman that Bishop has chosen to be with, and the fact that she is one of the daughters of Bishop Saunders makes these desperate women hate her even more. There is no pastor I know that will go to someones place of business to talk to them. Counseling is always done at the church, or with the pastor and "His" wife at their house. Bishop had to have known something was up... "booty- call" or something. but the preliminary trial is on July 2nd.... we'll see if the state has enough evidence. The last time I checked a person is innocent until proven guilty. None of us know what happened, we were not there. I ate dinner with the family, known of them for years. I don't doubt something something happened, but I have a hard time believing that he forced her to perform sexual acts. It seems like what happened may have been consensual, (doesn't make it right) and then somewhere down the line maybe he tried to break it off and she wasn't going for it..I don't know..just guessing...again, the forced part is whats hard to swallow. Continuing to lift all parties up in prayer, especially for Lady Faulkner..I can't imagine what she is going through.
