The grading of Advanced Placement exams
College professors and high school teachers are grading the Advanced Placement exams at several locations around the country during June and we've been following the tweets of Trevor Packer, the College Board's head of AP, in the past week as he observers the sessions. He's at Trevor_AP for all those teachers who are curious about the inside baseball remarks of those grading the exams. And here's a story of general interest about how the College Board gathers all those graders who arrive from around the country and why in the world they might want to sit and grade essays from 8 am to 5 pm for days on end.

This is OT, but I didn't know where to post it, and it is an assessment question.
I was wondering if you or Erica might ask about the MSA scores for this year? I've heard that most other counties have passed them down to schools already, but not Baltimore City, even though North Ave. has them...

Your Principal has the scores... but can't share them.

Anon: No they don't. The scores have not been released to anyone beyond DREA (or whatever they are calling it now). Not sure where you got your info from.

Dr. Alonso emailed them to BCPSS leadership yesterday midday. I did hear that other counties had them earlier though.
Can't wait to see the whole system's data. Liz, will that article be coming out soon?
