Montgomery administrator appointed deputy superintendent in Baltimore County

Renee A. Foose, associate superintendent of the Office of Shared Accountability in Montgomery County, was recently put in charge of the business operations for the Baltimore County school system. Foose's official job title is deputy superintendent. She replaces J. Robert Haines who retired last summer. I asked the Baltimore County school system for her salary, but I haven't gotten a response. I will post it here when I do. I also asked Montgomery County for a resume for Foose, but so far no response from there either.

If she has any self respect...she'll be sorry! I am sure she won't be on the job for a day before learning that there are a small circle of friends who call the shots and should anything be found out, it will be her job to fall on the sword or be fired. This is the way Baltimore County practices business. Don't expect the board to listen for they are complicit in the shady, unethical dealings that have come to characterize the system under the current leadership. She should beg Montogomery County to take her back now before joining the long, long list of formers. I feel sorry for her.

I think you only have half of this story. She is not replacing Haines. Mr. Haines has been gone for awhile and was replaced by Mary Carey - who resigned. The Deputy Superintendent position is gone and has been split in two. One is going to Ms. Foose the other is going to someone else who will lead Teaching and Learning and Curriculum and Instruction departments. SO BCPS has gone from one high priced administrator to two high priced administrators. What's the rest of the story? Hmmm

Who is Rodger Plunkett and what is he doing in Baltimore County?
