So awesome!

(Positive News About City School Student)

Take a look further this is just not enough, but a right first step in the right direction. What to look for are if most of the student accomplishments are linked with resources provided by the BCPSS or in spite of, will remain to be the key connect the dots key observations needed?

Take a look. I know as a fact the City Schools operations not the governance do not provide enough systemic internal academic enrichment acceleration type schlorships or budget funded outcome opportunity resources internal/external for promoting student increased paticipation for primary/secondary school students as you would think a responsible school system should if they are about providing the minimum required a adaquate education per the MD state charter.

Forwarded written communication reccomendations and advise given to the executive operations officers to consider creating the academic schlorships resources implementation in the form of budget line items for present and future SY is needed.

Huh???

The website is wonderful. We always ask where the press is when great things happen weekly! Now, we need to flood the site with all the accomplishments of the students.

I'm still havving trouble with the systemic use of the word"kids".

@Wise Ed

Awareness that Merriam-Webster's Dictionary:

Main Entry: 1kid
Pronunciation: \ˈkid\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English kide, of Scandinavian origin; akin to Old Norse kith kid
Date: 13th century

1 a: a young goat b: a young individual of various animals related to the goat

I'm impressed by the site, although as they get to add more awards I'll be happier still. I was even able to find a flyer for an event that I'll ask my kid to pass along to a teacher and maybe there will be some participation from the class.

I think the comment about kids was not a matter of not knowing the definition, but having problems with the slang/casual nature of the word. I know I have problems refering to my kids' teachers by their first name, even when they're half my age. There's a level of formality/respect in education that I have a hard time putting aside.
