Pitroff named interim CFO for city schools

The school board last night named Michael Pitroff interim chief financial officer, through the end of the academic year, while it searches for a permanent replacement for John Walker. Pitroff was only recently named the system's chief technology officer, and the plan is to return him to that position as soon as possible.

This is an excellent appointment for the interim!!

Mike is a good guy, he's one of the people that does real work at North Ave.

Mike is the best administrator in the system. His return to the central office was one of the bright lights in the past few years.

Best Move yet by Alonso - maybe there is some hope for him yet! Mike will do what is best for the students and system. He is a respected and trusted administrator - Good Luck Mike!
