Never underestimate the power of Nancy Grasmick

They don't call her Teflon Nancy for nothing... Her nemesis, Gov. Martin O'Malley, announced today that he will work with the state superintendent, and he's asked members of the General Assembly to call off their efforts to oust her through legislation. Governor O'Malley should be ashamed. One of the reasons that many teachers got behind him in the election was his opposition to Grasmick. Once again, Maryland political machines ignore the wants of the public.
