Whatever happened to Cassandra Jones?

The former chief academic officer of the Baltimore schools is now interim chief academic officer in Philadelphia, where she's applied to be the next CEO. Check out this Philadelphia Inquirer story today.

To those of you who worked under Jones in Baltimore, do you think she'd make a good schools chief?

Yes. Jones woul be great. She was driven out by the status quo politicians and policy makers that dwell in mediocrity and inefficient bureacracy. Rather than have a competent, caring, change agent, like Jones, the city opts for incompetent, indicted criminals like current school board pres., Brian Morris.

Dr. Jones was an AWESOME ADMINISTRATOR. She had the unique ability to show love to the children, concern to the parents, and respect for employees. One thing she didn't have..fear of anything walking on North Avenue! That's why they got rid of her. She couldn't be threatened or bought.
