Take this site and name it!

It’s capital budget time, and we at Classroom Connections are amid our own renovation project.

We’re working to enhance our site to bring you the freshest look at the world of education – whether that be local or national. That means there will be more digging, more insightful content, and more trends.

It has also been pointed out to us that our name is a little – dull. So we will be taking suggestions for our new name.

We hereby announce a contest for a new name.

The winner will have the glory of being recognized on our new site. A word of warning: we are also thinking up new names, so your suggestions have to be better than ours…

Evoking the sense of interaction a blog can offer (meaning you have to respond to your commenters more):
"The Chalk Board"

I'm kinda partial to EdBlog.

It is short, sweet, to-the-point and sounds like someone I could have beers with.

But steegness is right. You should respond to us more...

:)

Well, David & steegness, I like "EdBlog," too. I use that term as my shorthand for the list of education blogs that I read regularly, so I'm obviously a bit biased.

And I appreciate that our commenters want to hear from us, so I am pledging to do better on that front, as well as the other tweaks we're making to boost the popularity of our blog. So, consider me in Blogger Rehab.

I like "Chalk Talk" and "Chalk Board"-- thanks steegness.

No problem. Just pay me a quarter for every page hit. :)
