Man in critical condition in Bolton Hill shooting
A 22-year-old man was shot overnight in Bolton Hill, police said, and he remained in critical condition after surgery.
The shooting took place shortly after midnight on the 1700 block of Park Avenue, that's just a couple blocks south of the Madison Park apartments, which the mayor and housing commissioner this week said would have its license revoked due to ongoing violence. Two people have been killed there this year.

I'm fairly sure that we can tie this violence to Madison Park North. The 1700 block of Park is not normally known for violent crime.

...a few blocks away but a world apart. The 1700 block of Park Ave features colonial brownstone mansions and several parks with working fountains. It is one of the nicest blocks in the city, in my opinion.

I was there when this happened! This block and the blocks before it are full of gorgeous brownstones and college kids trying to start life as adults. I hope the city will be moving quickly onj revoking this license. It is for the safety of our children!
