Caption Call Recap: Week of May 18
Caption Call is coming up on its first birthday, and our loyal captioners (as well as a few new faces here and there) keep making it an entertaining venture for us from week to week. Our personal favorite photo from last week showed a kid getting a snail facial; turns out he was going for a world record and not just a Caption Call hall of fame photo. Click on to see which captions from last week we thought were the funniest.

Little the Chihuahua won best in show for his costume during a Halloween celebration at Faneuil Hall in Boston. The look on his face seems to show that he's afraid of his own costume. (AP photo)

The hard times associated with this recent "economic downturn" aren't funny, but the things people will do to attract an employer's attention give us a little chuckle. This AP photo shows one grad at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Unfortunately, Howie's degree was in graphic design. Prospective employers were not impressed.

The jaguar in this AP photo is part of a set of triplets born recently at Tierpark Zoo in Berlin. Apparently this little fella isn't used to all of the paparazzi.

"Hurry! You must put me back in the basket immediately! You did not mention that the paparazzi would be here and I have on the exact same outfit as the last time they photographed me."

Don't be discouraged if your funnies didn't make our list, loyal Caption Callers. Try coming up with something good for today's photo of a pirate and his foul friend.
