A representative from "President Elect" Obamas office says that next year we'll up the ante by issuing a pardon to a Turducken.

"THIS THANKSGIVING TURKEY IS OFFICIALLY PARDONED." "Ok, now that the photo op is over, take it to the chef and tell him to keep it nice and plump and serve it up for Christmas ...Um with extra gravy."

President Bush attempts to soothe McCain after losing the election.

Bush's presidency begins it's "lame turkey" phase.

Stocks drop sharply due to concerns that President Bush will not pardon turkey.

Unfortunately for the two boys, only one pardon would be granted that day.
