Gossip Girl News Roundup: Ed Westwick, Fashion Designer? Plus, Pics, and Fashion Scoop

Gossip Girl continues to generate serious Internet buzz as the stars get started filming season two. Some of the best:

*Some interesting scoop from Fashionista.com this morning -- the site reports that Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick is in talks to develop his own fashion line. We're already wondering what it might look like -- would it be Chuck-inspired? If so, based on what we've seen so far out of the Hamptons set pics, we can expect lots of shorts, bow ties, and loafers (and perhaps a shark sweater or two?). But if the line is based on Ed's personal style, watch out -- the man can really dress. Check out this pic of Ed celebrating his 21st birthday at TAO Las Vegas a few weeks ago for proof!

*EW.com has a hot sneak preview pic of Blair and Chuck. Are they reconciling? Fighting? Scheming? It's impossible to tell, but we're loving the intense gleam in Chuck's eyes.

*People.com's Gossip Girl Guide to Summer features the cast frolicking in the Hamptons. There's a pic of Nate canoodling with his controversial cougar love interest (but you can't see her face), as well as Serena and Dan on the beach, Jenny hugging a puppy, and more!

*The New York Times reports on how Gossip Girl's adventurous style is impacting fashion and inspiring designers to whip up prep-school-inspired pieces for fall.

Rumorville: CW Source Hottie Bracket Wreaks Havoc

Just when you thought the drama was over, we've got more fallout from the CW Source Hottie Awards. The results have shaken up the sets of One Tree Hill and Supernatural.

According to our sources, both Sophia Bush and Bethany Joy Galeotti were following the polls closely.

"Bethany was thrilled to win, but was maybe a little disappointed with the men's result," said our mole. "Once she found out that she might be paired with both Winchesters, she insisted the tech support guys on staff write a program that would clear her computer's cookies twice a minute. I think she was responsible for at least half of the BiBro votes. Can you blame her?"

Things have been stormy on the Supernatural set since the verdict came down. An anonymous crew member tells us that Jared has retreated to his trailer and demanded several pints of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream and a steady supply of Bartles & James Fuzzy Navel wine coolers.

"It's getting ugly here," our source says. "Every once in a while, you'll hear a sob, and I could swear I heard him say 'Why, God, Why? Why does no one love me?' a few times."

According to our source, Sophia Bush has been dispatched from North Carolina to try to talk Jared through this crushing disappointment.

But it doesn't end there. The biggest news is a shocker: our sources tell us bracket winners Bethany Joy Galeotti and Jensen Ackles, prompted by their recent victories, have begun secretly dating, and are on the cusp of announcing their engagement. CW network executives are said to be thrilled.

"We love this development," said a CW bigwig who asked to remain anonymous. "They're two gorgeous people from two of our hottest shows, and that's just magic for us. Besides, we've already drawn up a contract to ensure that any kids they may have will be automatically signed to a holding deal with us as soon as they're conceived. Can you imagine? Those kids would be hotter than Brangelina's babies!"

More news, plus hot Bethany-and-Jensen pictures, after the break!

Rumorville: Kristen Bell Going to Lost!?

Kristen BellTV Guide.com's Ausiello reports that Kristen Bell might be heading over to Lost this fall! She'd play "a hot twentysomething who is said to be 'precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world.'"

Swap the word "academic" for "detective," and that description sounds like Veronica in a few years.

So is this a good potential move for Kristen? Is it a good move for Lost? We don't watch it regularly (we know, we know, we really need to get our hands on some DVDs. Off to our Netflix queue...), so we have no clue how'd she fit in with the cast. Hopefully those of you who are fans can enlighten us!

More importantly: will it even happen? It's still nowhere near official, but here's hoping we get some news soon to add to the Veronica-Mars-cast-moves-on file. What do you guys think?

Rumorville: A Gilmore Girls Movie?

Gilmore Girls

We've been mourning the loss of our gals, Lorelai and Rory, since we heard the sudden, sad news about their departures a few weeks ago. But just as we were starting to get used to the idea of no more Gilmore, Amy Sherman-Palladino now throws us a curveball.

TVGuide.com's Michael Ausiello reports that the creator and longtime executive producer of Gilmore Girls would love to bring back her baby in the form of a TV movie. A reunion, of sorts. "In the next year or two, she hopes to make - wait for it - a two-hour Gilmore Girls TV movie that ties up all those loose threads," Mike relays.

Interestingly enough, this was news to the Gilmore cast as well. Scott Patterson, Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham all expressed interest. " 'I would do it just to get the four final words out of Amy. They torture me,' " Graham e-mailed to Ausiello.

Frankly, we'd love to see the ending AS-P had in mind all along. What about you? Would you tune back in a few years to see how your favorite Stars Hollow lasses are doing? What do you think they will up to then?

Rumorville: Someone Will Die on Smallville (Again)

Smallville
Fellow Smallville fans, beware! We have a spoiler that just might ruin your day, maybe even your week or month (but hopefully not your year; this one just started!). Do you want to know what we're talking about? Get the scoop here. If you opt to pass on this vital piece of info, well, don't say we didn't try to warn you.

Tomorrow night is the highly anticipated Justice League episode. To be honest, we've had a hard time keeping up with an additional superhero, so we don't know how we'll handle a few more! Will Lois hook up with all of them?

Meanwhile, how much longer do we have to put up with the awkwardness that is Jimmy? We love him - Aaron Ashmore nails the part - but clearly Chloe is always going to be one step ahead of him. And Lexana just makes us sad.

Good thing this episode will focus on heroes. "Justice," your table is ready.

Rumorville: The O.C. Coming to The CW?

Benjamin McKenzie
Word on the street (or more like the Internet) that Fox will say good-bye to The O.C. at the end of this season. It's really a shame because it's rebounded this year with improved storylines and excellent new casting after a horrendous third season.

However, some people believe that the show could succeed once again on another network... for example, The CW. Would you like to see The O.C. on the big green? Do you think it's a good fit for the network? Personally, we think the series is worth saving. Otherwise, where will we get our Ryan fix?!

Rumorville: Justice League Spin-Off?

The Green Arrow
There are rumors floating around the Internets that a Justice League spin-off is in the works. Smallville producer Al Gough denies this though. But we've never taken such denials to heart. We know those in the biz like to keep such things under wraps for as long as possible.

Would you like to see one? Who would you cast as the Flash, Cyborg, Green Arrow, Aquaman? We dig the Justin Hartley and would LOVE to see him come back to The CW - as long as he doesn't take Lois with him!
