As always I pretty much agree with you guys on all the things & especially with Sarah on Rachel. The only storyline that interests me is Dan & Rachel & i want to see their interaction with other members of the cast( the old ones). I have tried to bring myself to care for any of the new cast member ,but I am just not able to. I sorta like their lighter moments, but I don’t really feel anything for them when they are hurting.

In reference to podcast of ep 10- Rachel has mastered the art of rubbing it in & she has made several remarks regarding Dan being a murderer on several previous occasions. She hired the audience guy to say that during the show & in episode number.....umm whatever, when Dan was having nightmares about the kid ,& he told her that she shouldn’t have stolen that heart & they bought that kid’s death, Rachel said” I did what I had to do to save you, I am not a murderer Dan, that will be you”!!! Sometimes I feel that Lucas or Karen have hired her to screw with him .Totally kidding :-) Anyways, she only wants to make money out of other people’s misery (mainly Dan’s), & I love her for that as well *evil grin*

In reference to ep 11 podcast, Rachel didn’t sleep with Nathan, she slept with his uncle Cooper & made several passes at him & did kiss him, but didn’t sleep with him. Her days in high school weren’t totally bad,she was a popular fresher,she later became friends with Brooke & Mouth & even Lucas, except near the end when she got kicked out for something when she was trying to help Brooke. But in the last episode of season 4, it was clear that she was very much a part of their group. Her parents were filthy rich, more than Brooke’s I’m guessing. So I guess, her parents disowned her after her downward spiral & after her modeling career went down or something & she was down on money & ended up stripping & rest is history. So we do have plenty of backstory on her, if the writers on this show are planning on keeping the character consistent, I guess it will be established that she isn’t a flatout evil person, she is wicked though & ballsy & all kinds of b*tchy & I love that about her.
And another thing, as far as school shooting is concerned, Rachel was sorta responsible for that as well, she did something that pushed that troubled kid (Jimmy) over the edge, her motives were different & she didn’t think it would result in that & so far only Mouth knows about that .Granted the kid was troubled he would have killed himself one way or the other.

LOVED her scene with Dan in limo,she was so brilliantly awesome!!!!

Julian was such a jerk in this past episode, I suppose I get that infertility thing sorta slipped out ( Still, big mistake ) but his confession to Alex regarding wanting to have kids made me furious. What the hell was that!!!! That was beyond stupid. If he wanted to confide in someone so bad, he should have told his Dad or someone, but Alex the girl who is stalking you!!!!!! I agree with Victoria, he is not the man for Brooke. He seems conflicted. Clay & Brooke might actually work better, but we know its not gonna happen

i agreed with you guys on pretty much everything. i literally cringed and wanted to gouge my eyes out at the whole 'white men can't jump' thing they did with jamie and chuck. i didn't get it, i didn't like it, and i'm kinda sick of jamie at this point.

rachel actually didn't sleep with nathan, she tried but it never happened.

i think clay and brooke would be really good together too, i'm sick of juilan and brooke.

i REALLY REALLY miss lucas and peyton. and they were never my favorite either, lucas even really bugged me at the end but i miss them a lot now with all these pointless secondary charactors they brought in to try and fill their void. i think they are trying to make julian the new lucas, but you're right, lucas definitely had tons more depth. he was actually interesting and his story line would switch up every now and then.

anyway, i really hope this is the last season because they're kind of destroying my favorite show at this point. i miss seasons 1-4 horribly. speaking of, are you guys going to do some more season 2 podcasts during the break. i know you are busy, just wondering =] great podcast!

Ladies! Thankyou so much for discussing my idea of Clay and Brooke. I think it could be the thing that makes the show interesting again. I'm with you Darcel. I'd love to be a writer for this show.
