Missy Peregrym, who plays Sam's girl-next-door love interest Andi on Reaper, turns 26 today. Happy birthday, Missy!

Missy has already had quite a career: She started modeling at 18 and quickly jumped to commercials. Her first acting job came in 2000, where she appeared as “Hottie Blood” in an episode of Dark Angel – which also featured current co-star Valerie Rae Miller and fellow CW favorite Jensen Ackles. That led to a string of guest-appearance roles on The Chris Isaak Show, Andromeda, Tru Calling and Jake 2.0. She also hit the CW on Smallville, appearing as a meteor freak who could manipulate people through e-mail, then starred with Allison Mack in the Smallville: Vengeance Chronicles webisodes.

The first time Missy really hit our radar was in the “not gym-NICE-ticks” movie “Stick It”, where Missy starred as Haley Graham, a rebellious gymnast who reenters the sport to ward off jail time. Then she appeared on Heroes as Candace, the devious shapeshifter. Both roles were a far cry from her sweet, girl-next-door character on Reaper!

We can’t wait to see where Missy takes Andi next season on Reaper now that she knows what’s going on with Sam and can stop being the clueless love interest and can start occasionally kicking escaped-soul butt.
