How does health care impact you? Tell us

The Sun has launched a new feature we hope will keep us better connected with readers and help us tell stories about the economy that are most important to them.

By joining Light Source, you'll get a monthly email asking about your experience with various economic topics. This month: health care. We'll use the answers to help shape stories that you will eventually read in The Sun's news pages and on its website. You'll be our new network of real-life experts.

We know Picture of Health readers have lots to say about health care reform. Whether you're a provider, patient or insurer, we want to hear your issues and concerns. Check it out here and let us know what you think.

The way I look at it, America should be ashame of not offering health care to everyone at an affordable rate. For those conservatives who cry foul, well folks, guess what is foul, people using the system of the emergency as a form of medical treatment because they have no health insurance are just as costly if not more than the current proposal. Either way the middle class is still paying the bill, the new way is transparent nothing hidden, the old way can't pay go to the emergency room which by law can not turn you away, so we are still paying. Also cut into the profits of the of the insurance groups and doctors who find in necessary to live lavish life-styles at the expense of the struggling family. To report outrageous quarterly profits and to say we are hurting financially is hypocritical to say the lease. To perform operations which are known not to have benefit than someone's pocket is just as bad selling drugs which don't do any is astonishing. Either way someone is going to pay which is probably the middle class.
