Sushi the black pit still missing

The pup we put an alert out about a few days ago is still missing. Keep on the lookout for her around Fells Point/Patterson Park/Canton.....

Her owner Michelle writes:

Sushi is still missing as of midnight on 10/9-10/10...PLEASE keep your eyes peeled and keep the calls coming! She was last spotted at the corner of Thames and S. Wolfe across the street from the Thames St. Park at about 7:30 am on 10/9.

We have posted signs and put food down for her. She is a black pit mix with a white chest. She is about knee high and 50 lbs. She also has a chipped tongue. She is SUPER friendly and has been answering to
her name, but no one has been able to grab her yet. Please let us know if you see her or know anyone who has!

THANK YOU to everyone who has been calling and keeping a lookout! We appreciate it! Help us bring her
HOME!!!!

And please note Sushi is a GIRL!

Michelle - I know how scary it ois to not know where they are. I've got you and Sushi in my prayers. He'll find his way back to you.

It's very sad to hear about dogs that are lost. http://www.petfencingsupplies.com tries to keep this from happening by selling electric dog fences and pet containment systems. Michelle, best of luck in finding your dog!

About Jill Rosen
Jill Rosen is a reporter at The Baltimore Sun. During her nearly 20 years in journalism, she has covered news and features — including a surprising number of stories that involved animals. There were the dog Christmas carolers in State College, Pa. There were the hounds who toured with a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The story of a preschool teacher at Baltimore’s Father Kolbe School who had to replace her class guinea pig, who died over the winter holiday. A harrowing tale of what it was like to make homemade pet food ...

Though her clean freak of a mother refused to allow her to get a dog, she has had a number of pets through the years, including goldfish named Bob and Fingle, a betta fish named Ichabod, a wild rat terrier named Wendel, who she shared with a roommate, and, currently, sweet, sweet kitties named Leo Sesame and Milo Pumpkin and a little rescued pup named Teddy Bean. She, Leo, Pumpkin and Teddy Bean live in Baltimore.
