Rescue Ink in B-more: Looks like this!

Unleashed reader Jaime sent in this awesome picture of her meeting up with Rescue Ink. She ran into the guys Saturday night at their Baltimore hotel. Just so happens, Jaime got the paw tattoo earlier Saturday at Baltimore Tattoo Museum to benefit the Rescue Ink nonprofit and Baltimore Humane Society. She shows off her new wrist bling, too.

The guys are supposed to visit Golden Ring Middle School Monday morning, stop at the Maryland SPCA and then head back to Long Island.

Anyone else got the paw tats? Send in some pictures. We all want to see what they look like. (Saw Baltimoregal's at BARCStoberfest this afternoon...it looked great!)

At left is Shannon's tat, the paw print of her dog, Lucy. Shannon, btw, was the first of anyone to suggest getting a paw tattoo to get Rescue Ink here.

Check out some more pictures of Sunday's event at the Humane Society here.

What a great experience it was to meet Rescue Ink today ! They were all so friendly & fun to talk with & spend time with. I'll post a pic of my paw print as soon as I can get a good shot. Anybody know what the total was of tats done ?

My friend got his paws tattoo (on the bottom of his foot, ouch!) at 6:45pm on Saturday and I believe he said the number was up to 62 or 63 people who got tattoo's.

I got the paw print tattoo! Thanks to Josh at the Baltimore Tattoo Museum for the job well done! Also thanks to the Humane Society volunteers for keeping everything running smoothly. I plan on going back to Josh at the Tattoo Museum to add some more stuff around the tattoo.

I was in the booth next to Jamie's friend and I thinik 1 was #60. I'll send in my pictures tonight!

This is the only non-blurry shot of my paw prints I've managed to take so far.

i got a paw tatt, actually, two!! Josh did a fab job!! i also plan on going back. Bravo to the Bmore Tattoo Museum and the Human Society. Great job!!

Jill, I sent you a pic of mine in an email. Hopefully it went through ok. Wonder what happened to everybody else that said they were getting tats ? Again, many thanks to Baltimore Tattoo Museum, Adam who did a great job on my pawprint, the Baltimore Humane Society & Rescue Ink. Meeting those guys & talking to them & getting them to sign my book was an awesome experience.

I definitely got mine. Thank you soooo much Tattoo Museum. My friend and I who both got ours on our necks will be going back to Josh for a few additions. And meeting the guys on Sunday was truly awesome! I also met some other pretty darn cool people. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Good job Baltimore!!

Love the picture of you and your crew, Andy!

About Jill Rosen
Jill Rosen is a reporter at The Baltimore Sun. During her nearly 20 years in journalism, she has covered news and features — including a surprising number of stories that involved animals. There were the dog Christmas carolers in State College, Pa. There were the hounds who toured with a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The story of a preschool teacher at Baltimore’s Father Kolbe School who had to replace her class guinea pig, who died over the winter holiday. A harrowing tale of what it was like to make homemade pet food ...

Though her clean freak of a mother refused to allow her to get a dog, she has had a number of pets through the years, including goldfish named Bob and Fingle, a betta fish named Ichabod, a wild rat terrier named Wendel, who she shared with a roommate, and, currently, sweet, sweet kitties named Leo Sesame and Milo Pumpkin and a little rescued pup named Teddy Bean. She, Leo, Pumpkin and Teddy Bean live in Baltimore.
