Pup steals show as author promotes rescue book
On CBS, there's a nice interview with the author of the new book, "To the Rescue: Found Dogs with a Mission." It's about people who rescue animals, and then train them to do good in the community, to sort of give back. The author, Elise Lufkin, brings Linus to the live interview, a real sweetie with three legs who volunteers at a hospital.

Great interview & story! For more wonderful true stories about dogs who found their purpose in life, including the story of the first dog to be trained for helping people with muscular disabilities, see the book, Angel Dog with a Mission by Allen & Linda Anderson. The book also has stories of a cancer-sniffing dog, an avalanche rescue dog, and a dog who did search and rescue at the Twin Towers on 9-11.
