A No. 2 on Air Force One? Oh noes Bo!

Say it isn't so, Bo!

The Wall Street Journal speculates today that the First Puppy left a little something in the aisle of Air Force One. And it wasn't a bone.

Of course it's all unnamed sources, so who knows what to believe. But the paper quotes one supposed eyewitness saying: "You can imagine the horror on board when they discovered what it had done."

They add that a flight attendent "nearly stepped in it."

Poor Bo. A dog's gotta go when a dog's gotta go. And you know how those airplane bathrooms are.....

White House sources are apparently denying. The Journal says: "A White House press official was certain — the scoop on the poop was a crock. The press office checked with the Air Force One flight crew who said Bo had not desecrated the jet."

Oh, like none of us have ever pooped in the aisle of a jet? When you gotta go (and have had one too many bloody marys), you gotta go!

Such a sweet looking dog. I'd be surprised if any dog running around on a plane didnt make a mess... I mean give Bo a break, look at the BIG messes his owners have made in the past 9 months!!!

Poor Bo! What's the big deal about going "potty" on the plane...it was an accident and they happen!! Just curious, too...Obama's first official White House photo without Bo...is he not part of the family anymore? I always thought the Obamas got him because it "looked good" now are they tired of him...none of the family seems too interested in having a pet...I always see him nowadays with his handler...too bad...even in the White House animals can be neglected. Maybe give him to someone who would love him?

About Jill Rosen
Jill Rosen is a reporter at The Baltimore Sun. During her nearly 20 years in journalism, she has covered news and features — including a surprising number of stories that involved animals. There were the dog Christmas carolers in State College, Pa. There were the hounds who toured with a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The story of a preschool teacher at Baltimore’s Father Kolbe School who had to replace her class guinea pig, who died over the winter holiday. A harrowing tale of what it was like to make homemade pet food ...

Though her clean freak of a mother refused to allow her to get a dog, she has had a number of pets through the years, including goldfish named Bob and Fingle, a betta fish named Ichabod, a wild rat terrier named Wendel, who she shared with a roommate, and, currently, sweet, sweet kitties named Leo Sesame and Milo Pumpkin and a little rescued pup named Teddy Bean. She, Leo, Pumpkin and Teddy Bean live in Baltimore.
