Maximus the Boston Terrier is my favorite! But I'm a little biased... :)

Nala, the cat, is my favorite. I wished that I could have taken my 2 black cats to the event. Nala's owner cooled Nala off at one of the water stops and didn't seem to mind being surrounded by dogs.

Morgan , the 11 week Chow is my favorite. He is so adorable! What a sweet face!

# 4 top row is Marley from Glen Arm after 2 circuits. Decided the picnic table was the best place to rest. Removed from prying noses.

Tom, Hi. Thanks for the info. We will update. I'm guessing that would get your vote for your favorite picture?? MC

Morgan the Chow is an adorable fuzzball!

My vote goes to Knuckles and Bonkers...twice the fun and cuteness.

They all get my vote, but i I am a little partial to Maximus ..so sweet

Geoff from Ace of Cakes...now THAT'S cute overload!!!! Sorry I missed seeing him...

Nala's my favorite...what a brave, well-behaved kitty...she deserves some extra treats for being such a good sport.

My favorite is Greta of Bolton Hill

I vote for Lady Bianca! Love the pink dress!

I like Nala--she looks like a baby tiger.

Lassie and Lady get two votes from me.

I vote for Roscoe from Westminster.

Max of Cockeysville! He has a face you could tell your troubles to.

The Marmaduke dog should win for sheer size alone. Row No. 4...6

Roscoe from Westminster is my favorite. He has that expression that's saying...I'll get in trouble but you'll always forgive me!

Marley is my canine fave. He looks very noble...even sitting on top of that picnic table. I like his tiger stripes.

I'm a cat person so my vote goes to Nala. My runner up is Ebony.

Two collies together in one picture = tooooooo cute. Lassie and Lady win for me!

I was driving up to the park and I stopped at a light next to the woman with the great dane - his head was out the passenger window and his rear had her pinned against the drivers side window - it was very comical and they get my vote

Max from Cockeysville gets my vote. He reminds me of a special dog I once knew.

My vote goes to row 4, # 4. She's a lovely little lady named Penny, from Owings Mills. Yay for first ever Muttiest of Mutts! Second favorite for me would have to be Ebony the cat. He decided that after walking all day it was time to be carried. =)

Stephanie, Hi. Thanks! Congrats to Penny. We will update the captions. MC

I vote for Yorkie alert. Looks like a great listner.

I loooove Lady Bianca. She's a winner.

I choose the snake...Zeke of Timonium. He has beautiful skin and his owner deserves credit for bringing him to the march and giving him a good life.

I'm biased so I'd have to vote for the adorable beagle balancing on both hind legs. But, all the dogs are precious and it looks like they all had a fabulous time!

3rd row 5th dog over(yorkie alert) is my buddy stephens' dog "Jewel" the little dog in the background belongs to Lisa and myself his name is Mac and yes he is full grown...LOL

About Jill Rosen
Jill Rosen is a reporter at The Baltimore Sun. During her nearly 20 years in journalism, she has covered news and features — including a surprising number of stories that involved animals. There were the dog Christmas carolers in State College, Pa. There were the hounds who toured with a production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The story of a preschool teacher at Baltimore’s Father Kolbe School who had to replace her class guinea pig, who died over the winter holiday. A harrowing tale of what it was like to make homemade pet food ...

Though her clean freak of a mother refused to allow her to get a dog, she has had a number of pets through the years, including goldfish named Bob and Fingle, a betta fish named Ichabod, a wild rat terrier named Wendel, who she shared with a roommate, and, currently, sweet, sweet kitties named Leo Sesame and Milo Pumpkin and a little rescued pup named Teddy Bean. She, Leo, Pumpkin and Teddy Bean live in Baltimore.
