Where's Joe Biden's second dog?

But the veep got attention of a different sort after his wife, Jill, gave him a German shepherd puppy as a gift several months ago. At first, Biden got heat from groups that said he should have adopted a shelter dog.
Then it turned out that the dog, later named Champ, was from a Pennsylvania breeder whose kennel was cited for violations including unsatisfactory ventilation, inadequate maintenance and sanitation, and missing vaccination records, according to the Christian Science Monitor. (Biden's spokesperson said the kennel had received a perfect score in five previous inspections, according to the Associated Press.)
Biden quieted some critics by saying he'd be getting a second puppy, and this one would come from a shelter. In an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, he said that he and his wife have always had two dogs and have had rescue pets.
But that interview was back in December and so far there has been no announcement about the second dog. If Biden is looking for a place to go, Baltimore Animal Rescue Care Shelter (BARCS) is near the stadium and the Maryland SPCA isn't far away either.

Or www.petfinder.com. For the President and Vice-President not to adopt shelter dogs is maddening. What a crappy example.
