The perfect Christmas tree
If you haven't purchased your Christmas tree, you'd better get cracking. This weekend, the tree stands will probably be mobbed, and by Sunday night, the selection could be pretty well picked over.
Here's a look at the three most popular kinds of trees for Christmas.

The Fraser Fir is considerd by many to be the perfect Christmas tree and it is the one most often chosen for the White House Blue Room. There is more space between the branches, and that makes it easier to decorate.

The Douglas Fir has excellent needle retention and a wonderful scent and its soft fine green needles can support lots of lights.

The Nobel Fir is also popular because of its shape and its blue green needles. And it has good spacing, like the Fraser.

This past Saturday GrandBoy and I went to my treeseller of choice, White Marsh VFD (formerly Cowenton VFD) who did not have as many trees as I remember in years past (So, is my memory faulty? Did I tree shop earlier in prior years?) but the trees they did have were very nicely shaped and reasonably priced.
If I might put in a plug for volunteer firemen, they are inclined to allow boys to watch the cutting-the-end-off/netting-the-tree process and to help old ladies get the tree into or on top of their cars.

I will always love the Pine tree. I know it's unpopular for its' needles and mess. But the sweeping branches and scent are so festive.

well, these towering trees really help make winter festive.
When I saw it, I'm happy with the trees.
Is it really necessary that we scour the land for the most beautiful and tallest Christmas trees every year.
And one of the best way to share the joy with others is to make a Christmas photo gallery with Christmas photos, music and send it as a gift to your family and friends, or just to remember this day.
