I would love a copy! Can I be considered in the running?

Oh, I've been curious about this book. My mother was a Lincoln, so I know she would be interested as well.

I've heard good things about this book and I would love to have a copy of my own.

I would love to have this book for my neighbor across the street; she loves things like this.

I would love to have this interesting book!

Recently read the NY Times article about the author and would love to have a chance to win it. Being a city gardener, I love to read the blog to see what others are doing around B'more as well.

Sound like a very interesting summer read. Please consider me for 1 of the 5 copies of the book.

I saw this book at the Smithsonian gift shop but balked at the price. It looks like a very interesting read, and this cheapskate would love a chance to win a copy.
(The most wicked plant I've ever met was Jimson Weed; I am curious to see if it's included.)

We have the winners! Thanks for commenting!

About Susan Reimer
Susan Reimer has spent 16 years writing about raising kids - among other topics - in her column for The Baltimore Sun. And every time son Joseph or daughter Jessie passed another milestone - driver's license, college, wedding or a move to a new military duty station - she has planted another garden. Now she will be writing about those gardens - and yours - here on Garden Variety.

Susan isn't an expert gardener, but she wasn't an expert mother, either. Both - the kids and the gardens - seem to be doing well in spite of her.

She lives in Annapolis with her husband, Gary Mihoces, who loves to cut his grass but has noticed that there seems to be less of it every time the kids pass another milestone.
